Does anyone know what kind of conversion rate they will be using? I didn't see anything about it on thier website or here in the forums. | | Static Link |

If you want to do it, go in with your eyes open. In poker even if I'm card dead I can still always get a piece of the bonus. Not so in the casino.

Matt Johnson is right!
I haven't played the cryptos in months. Tried the interpoker $90 match, and now have $510 sitting in my Intercasino account.
To make a long story short, I'll never play poker there again.

Correct me if I'm wrong. If I play it as a casino bonus, then my expected bonus (after HA) is less than $90. If I play profitable, or even break-even poker, then my expected bonus is $90.
So, then I guess, the only possible justification for doing the casino bonus would be the hourly clearing rate? - since it is reportedly faster?
Indeed, for many players here (who otherwise play low-limit at Crypto), the number of hours that they need to put into clearing this bonus on the poker side is fairly large, and most of them don't enjoy playing the low-limit tables at Crypto that much.
EV on this bonus is ~$78, if you consider a HA of 0.5% on Blackjack(that's not exact, I'm just rounding numbers for ease of discussion). Unless you can really only handle the $1/$2 or lower tables at Crypto (bankroll-wise), I can't justify why you would want to cl... | | Read Entire Entry |

How long does it take you in table hours for interpoker? Im sure you could pick up some bodog, absolute, even multipoker for pokering that would earn as well or better.

Appreciate that... never seemed to be able to find the tournaments they talked about, but now I see them. Guess I'll have to play off my points before they retire 'em!
As for the whole "casino/poker" debate... if you normally play low limits, then by all means you should clear this in the casino. I enjoy playing higher stakes poker, though, so I don't mind single-tabling $3/$6+ games when they appear to clear this bonus each month. I'm much, MUCH more likely to make a good profit while I'm playing off the bonus that way. | | Static Link |

Wager $2250 at blackjack to clear the $90 bonus. It clears much faster than playing poker there. | | Static Link |

Alpha - Yes, those are the points they are taling about. I think they have had freerolls for points.
but the casino is worth so much more because its over in a few minutes.
I averaged about 130 profit with the poker, not sure how long it took since i multi site. But im averaged 240/month on the casino promo and maybe 15 minutes.

I mean heck - I've earned thousands of them and never seen any usage for them at all, so by all means -- they can change it all they want, as long as I get to do something with them! | | Static Link |

Quote: This conversion of Points will signal the end of the current Poker Point system (you'll stop getting Points as of the end of November).
We'll be introducing a new, improved Poker Point reward system in January - so look out for details on this in an email soon.
Wow! A "new, improved" point system? They are going out of their way to create a brand new system just to make things better for me!! Oh boy! Goody Goody!!!
Do I sound skeptical? Just because these kinds of changes are almost always better for the site, and worse for the customer? Okay, yeah, I am. I guess we will see. I guess I am just in a cynical mood lately. | | Static Link |
