i've found that often times if you look for tables outside of the "bonus zone" you cna find some great games which are more profitable than bonus whoring ... i whore generally but will take a good game over a whore.

playing against proposition players is -Ev unless you play well on extremly tight tables, find the casual player who is not a prop or pro and your WR often blossoms. Just re-read TTOP and its quite true that your good hands are weaker on these types of tables.

Forum: Bonus Whores | I could count on one hand the number of times in the past few years where I've actually sat down and thought, hmm there really isn't any bonus I could do right now. this is combined poker, casino and sports, though.
the first place I would play at with no bonus is Party Poker. I have like $1500 in uncleared bonus at UB, but I might still rather play at Party without a bonus first. or maybe just do the reload at Absolute. or Bodog. or Nine. or Gamesgrid (well...not that), or some $500+ deal at any of the Pokerroom skins I haven't done yet.
