Betfair does not accept US players so for this reason we never reviewed them. Since 80% of our visitors are from the US non US rooms are not a priority. Most of the other sites you see that do not accept US players accepted them at one time.

Thanks, PokerAddict! Betfair it is then! But I can´t find it in the dropdown list at BW home, is there a reason BW does not list it?

I know you can use Paypal at Betfair. They do not accept US players. There must be more but they are the only one I am aware of.

Paypal has gotten back into the online gambling business for European players. This is even more interesting as Ebay, their parent company, has come out in support of a US ban in online gambling. Maybe they felt obligated to do so after all the trouble Paypal got into with the state of New York (I believe it was them). They paid a massive fine that was around the amount of money they ever made from online gambling transactions.

Thought i'd dig a bit more.

email said;

"Score a free £15* bet on the World Cup

Got a hunch who will win? Then here's your chance to put someone else's money where your mouth is.

New customers to Betfair, the world's largest betting exchange, can get a free £10* bet plus an extra £5* when they pay for their bet through PayPal. Try your luck on the World Cup now!

You also have the chance to win a share of Betfair's £1 million competition. It's free to enter, so you've got nothing to lose.

If you haven't joined Betfair yet, sign up now and claim your free £15* bet. "

So i thought probably just a spam referral link.

I already have a betfair account so went there to find that they do indeed accept payments by Paypal as can be seen here;

https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/cps/general/BetFair-outside

but it is only from the following countries; United Kingdom
Germany ...

I have a unique email address for Paypal alone. Easy to sort out the scam emails, since nobody knows the Paypal email address.

Paypal, from my understanding, is getting into funding gambling overseas.

I just automaticly delete any Email I get from Pay Pal 99% of it is a scam of some kind made to look like its from Pay Pal To try and get you to log your user name and password.

And what really is from Pay Pal is just junk Mail anyway

Paypal eliminated the ability to us them for online gambling about 2 years ago.
