Cashouts were the 4th business day like clockwork. I remember thinking that was cool as shit. THe little 1.5% fee or so they put into a raked hand counter to cover the fee wasnt so bad either. But paradise has always taken money anyway they can. I used to even western union individuals on the support staff in costa rica when i needed a PL fix. you could even mail a personal check.

According to their website, which I was too lazy to check when I originally posted, it's true. To be honest, I don't really know why Paradise put that "you have made a deposit with a Canadian Visa card..." bit in the email when it could arouse suspicion in those players who actually hadn't - they should simply have written something along the lines of "as a customer with a registered address in Canada, we'd like to inform you that Visa card withdrawals are now available..." Anyway, I just found it interesting that with all the legal issues currently clouding US players' participation in online poker, at least one site is expanding funding options for the rest of us.

Dear Player,
You are receiving this email because you have made a deposit with a Canadian Visa card in the last 4 months. Paradise Poker is pleased to inform you that you are now eligible for Visa cashouts. In future, upon requesting a cashout, the Cashier will verify that you have used a valid Visa card in the last 4 months, then direct your cashout back to the most recently used Visa card, on a best efforts basis.
Paradise Poker is pleased to bring this service to our Canadian players and we are certain you will notice the increased efficiency in this cashout method.
Good luck at the tables,
Luke
Paradise Poker Cashier
