I did the same thing a long time ago, I haven't made a deposit in a year and last cash out was 6 months ago. The only money I have there is the "free $10" they put there which I played a tournament and some blackjack with. | | Static Link |

Sheer speculation would lead me to believe that it would be in the best interests of sites like Absolute to let people "get away" with this, since the alternative is most likely just a bunch of inactive accounts while people go elsewhere to get RB. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Audi at October 13, 2006, 11:03 am | | Topic: Absolute trying hard? Forum: Bonus Whores | There may also be another option for those without RB on the absolute network, I also got this from the Vegas247 affiliate manager this week:
Quote: As you may know, VegasPoker247 uses the Absolute Poker software, one of the top software platforms, and as such conversions will be high. As part of the Absolute Network players are allowed to have accounts at more than one site, so your members that may already have accounts at Absolute will still be able to open accounts with VegasPoker247.
In these uncertain times, especially in the US , I wanted to personally assure you that VegasPoker247 will be continuing to market to real money players in the US , and accepting their funds for as long as we are able to. Please click here to view our current press release. Unlike some of the other sites that you may be working with, at no time will we ever stop paying our affiliates for traffic delivered, regardless of source.
I always thought Absolute wouldn't allow this, but ... | | Read Entire Entry |

Forum: Bonus Whores | Both Absolute and FullTilt started offering rakeback to those who are NOT thru another affiliate already which is great. I was able to get rakeback added to both my accounts as I had signed up ages ago. They are definitely trying to grab up some of the open market with Party and Cryptos gone. Both have said that they are hanging around in US too, so good for you Americans who are missing out on some of the good bonuses that are now gone.
Also, Goal closed down, so don't sign up there if they are still accepting by any chance. They had payment problems and are blacklisted here I think.

Quote: Dear Affiliate,
As a part of our continuing commitment to improve operations, we’ve decided to allow
a small window of opportunity for inactive players to become affiliated to a
specific program, in order to obtain rake back through an existing account. Here are
the restrictions and requirements regarding this process.
Restrictions
The player in question will not be tagged if he/she is already tagged to an
affiliate. This is non negotiable, no player will be allowed to switch from one
program to another.
Players linked to our Refer-a-Friend (RAF) program, are not eligible
The account should be inactive for a period of no less than 6 months
Tagging will be subject to approval

contacting Absolute Poker do not qualify for this promotion.
