I had a couple of tickets - some freebies and a few I played in qualifiers with points - and I played them until I got tickets with expirations past the 11/6 cutoff. Now I just wait until they refund them.
The ticket i had was a stage 3 worth 320 that expired on Nov 11th (a week after the trny and 5 days after the deadline) so im guessing its being done on a case by case basis. | | Static Link |

Theres a way you can go into live chat and put a request in. Just go to my accnt and talk to live chat. I actually just called them. They were cool on the phone. Their CS is 1-888-MY-POKER. I know theyve given people back 5200 so im sure 24.00 wont be an issue. Good Luck | | Static Link |

Quote:
Thank you for your email.
The only time tournament tickets are unusable is if the ticket has expired, or your account is closed for Real Money play. Please note that Real Money play will be blocked to US players as of November 6th, 2006.
You will be pleased to know that your existing tournament tickets can still be used in Real Money Tournaments until the US real money block is in effect; hence, we are unable to refund those tickets at the present moment.
If you have valid tournament tickets in your account at the time of the block on November 6th, please contact us back and these tickets will be forwarded to the relevant department for a refund as cash in your Pokerroom.com account at the earliest possible time.
Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. | | Static Link |

I was able to get a refund for a stage 2 ticket at PR. It took about a week for them to process my request.
At Holdempoker, I have not had any success with getting refunds on a couple of stage tickets after two requests. I guess I will just have to wait and hope it happens.
Thet gave me my stage 3 ticket back in cash as well. Took about a week as well to give me my 320. Cashed out and it hit NT in about 12 hrs. Now that was a suprise! | | Static Link |

The President of the United States has signed new legislation
that will cause HollywoodPoker to suspend accepting deposits
from U.S. players and examine potential offerings to U.S. players
that would be within the new law. Normal play will
continue for approximately 30 days while we monitor any new
developments surrounding this new legislation. During this
time you will continue to have the ability to access your
account as well as play HollywoodPoker games as you normally
would, with the exception of making deposits. U.S. Free money
play will not be affected.
All Non-U.S. players will not be affected. They will be able
to access poker, Blackjack and soon to be launched casino and
slot games, including progressive slots!
We understand that you may have a number of questions regarding
this new action, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions
section on the site to find out more:

Here's to hoping that a lot of other sites start to follow the lead of Sun Poker and Full Contact Poker and move to networks that embrace Americans. Hell, maybe a brand new network can come from this that embraces US players, has great bonuses and allows users to have accounts on every site on the network.

Your heart is in the right place but the real reason for the slowdown is so they won't have to pay any bonuses at all. You can't really do anything about it when there point system slows to a crawl and your bonus isn't credited before they close your account can you? You don't even have a credible threat of never playing there again.
Also, they are rigged for rake.

Not from all of us, to be sure. I am not sure how you can blame the President for signing this bill. Or, perhaps you don't understand the US political process. Or, your just one of those left wing hate mongers.
But again politics and religion are tough topics for a poker board eh

I was frantic about not clearing mine...especially being so dang close. Especially since a couple bad beats and some donk calls put me down $120 in play on this $200 bonus. So I 6 tabled my last two sessions for about 4 hours (2 of them today at work...I was desperate).
I played plus $180 poker! And I cleared the bonus. Phew!
Of course looks like I may have had 30 days to do it. | | Static Link |

Is there a reasonable way to get a poker point with 75 cents in my account so it picks me up as a green room member again? I'm guessing not.
Edit: never mind, I was able to deposit. I'll play a point to be able to use my points I guess.

DAMN i shoulda done this earlier this week
It's had huge delays since the upgrade on wednesday. I got 25 points yesterday, but nothing since.
right before i started playing again after dinner it shot down to 70 point left.... I might be already done with the bonus, because that may have been points from last night, and i played a bunch this morning (when i discovered that ongame is kickin us) and that might push me over those points.... but i dont want to risk waiting to see because they might close my account by then.... but on the other hand i hate playing without a bonus | | Static Link |

When I went to my account for PR is shows my point totals as normal with the expirations showing for Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb.
However, when I go to the shop, which has nothing good in it at all to spend points on btw, it says my points expire tomorrow.
