You point it to both (or more) databases, and it will read the data from all you have selected and aggregate the data for display. For speed, you might also want to tell PAHUD to use a database cache, if you don't already.
As for your old hands, I think (but am not sure) that if it processes hands and doesn't move them at that time, when it runs later, it won't move them either, since they have already been processed.
I would suggest firing up PT when you don't have FT running, get it to import the hands, then exit PT and move (or delete) the hands. Then fire up PT and FT and it should be starting from scratch. | | Static Link |

When I pull up PAHuD will it read the stats for both databases? I havent really explored it when it comes to multiple databases, is there a place where I tell it of which ( or all ) of the databases I need it to gather information from?
With my PokerTracker, I was going to try my first mining experience but when I loaded up PT, went to the tables, I had PT set to auto import from FT but it said that I had like 1350 hands waiting to be imported.
I have the box checked that says, Move processed files to folder C:\ etc etc but when I close the window and come back to it later, it says that those hands have not been imported.
I read that if I have them stored in a folder, which is under the main directory, it will still read them and with me being a total computer idiot, I have no idea what to do.

One thing you might want to consider. I created a separate database for storing the observed hands in, which is separate from my main PT database. This keeps your observed hands out of your regular database, so when you want to do analysis of your own stats and hands, it doesn't have to process the gazillion observed hands.
Under the observed hands tab, you can specify what database they are stored in. | | Static Link |

Why do some people use those hand grabbers and other programs? Is it for doing it at other sites and FT is just an easy one to do it at?
So I just open up the tables I want, and set up PTracker to auto import and I am good to go? That seems too easy.
Thank You for your help, I thought it was much more difficult than that.

I just tried it, and u dont even need to have pahud open or running to datamine. open fulltitlt, and open the tables u want to mine. open poker tracker and start the auto import, and watch ur database grow.

I purchased the full version for $25.00 and now I have a question.
I have it working perfectly for me, when I am playing at the tables. It is flawless and this was easy to set up just like the two of you told me.
In the Options/Pref/Database section. When I update the database, where is it getting these HH's from. Does PAHuD store them in its own section, or does it also get these from my computers own FT/HH folder?
Can this program and PT alone datamine? Its something that I havent really looked into, but it seems like when playing at a new site it would be nice to be able to get some hands on the players early.
I thought I read on a thread that it stores "observed" hands in the FT/HH folder which isnt a FT/HH/Whoresname folder. Is this true? Then is it a matter of importing hands from the FT/HH folder into PT? I am not sure how this all works so if yo... | | Read Entire Entry |
