Bowmans leaves US market
With a solid Canadian player base, Bowmans.com announced effective immediately they will no longer be servicing US customers. The company announced Tuesday that all existing US customers would be transferred to Bodog.com, which is endorsed by Gambling911.com
The vast majority of European-based online sports betting companies have departed the US market with Bowmans being the latest. The bookmaker has served sports bettors since 1984, accepting US phone bets starting in 1995. Bowmans, however, was one of the last sportsbooks to actually go online.
The company is British owned by operates its call center and online site from the island nation of Mauritius. Much of its marketing focus has been on Canada in recent years.

MoneyBookers Joins Firepay in US Dropout
The online ewallet provider, Moneybookers, will follow suit of Firepay which halted all gambling transactions for US stationed customers.
The decision to stop all gambling transactions between MoneyBookers and gambling sites for US players came yesterday. Moneybookers is a UK based provider but says they will comply with US laws.
No official press release has yet to be issued by Moneybookers. Players who logged into their account and tried to make a deposit into an online gaming site were denied. A pop-up now rears its ugly head saying, “US customers can not do business with Gaming sites.”
