If you really can win 20% you should consider playing these, since the promotion would add almost $18 EV per tournament you play (dont forgot you will get 75k for 6 and 25k for 5 in a row).
But i think its really difficult to achieve this because the blinds go up really fast, i played a few and though the players were quite bad its not easy to win because many hands end allin preflop. | | Static Link |

Or was it the Chinese that get banned at all good promos cus of the insane mob rings they have, I can't remember? | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Verdi at August 11, 2005, 1:13 am | | Topic: Noble $1 Million for 7 SNG's Forum: Bonus Whores | If poker was completely random you would have 1/10 to win one. 1/100 to win two... 1/10,000,000 to win 7.
Personally I win maybe 1 in 5. That's 1/78125 to win 7 in a row.
In other words, this is really really hard to do. | | Static Link |

I would probably try to get around 4 straight on my own, then try to get as many friends in on it with me to guarentee the last 3. | | Static Link |

Sit N Go promotions are for recreational play only. DUh.

oh and if I was gonna do this I would not have more than 4 colluders at the table with me. I think if half the field of a single table SnG were working towards the goal of 1 person winning, they would have a great shot. all 10 people being in on it would increase the odds of getting caught by a large factor.
you would need to make sure the people signed up at very different days and times, and each account play plenty of independent coverplay. also of course they would need to all be from different places too.
also posting about it in a public thread like this would be a bad idea before attempting it, lol.
and I'm sure Jek loves this fraud planning on his forums | | Static Link |
| Posted by: slanina at July 16, 2005, 9:00 pm | | Topic: Noble $1 Million for 7 SNG's Forum: Bonus Whores | | Someone with balls could try the friends tactic. You have to win 7 straight so that measn 70 people total. Minus yourself in each one so that leaves 63 other people. Have each person create an account from now till august 1st and play like 2-300 dollars worth of SNG's then have 9 register for each tourney you sign in for. You split 1mil 64 ways and thats still roughly 16k each. Dunno but it sure seems fishy. Im sure whoever wins that million they will be studying their account for months for any sign of misuse. Of course im excluded from this attempt considering i have 3 friends and one of them is my dog. | | Static Link |

naughty thoughts! this promotion is screaming for an advanced collusion attack.
which makes me wonder what kind of collusion rings are going after similar step-level tournaments on various sites | | Static Link |
| Posted by: am at July 9, 2005, 7:44 am | | Topic: Noble $1 Million for 7 SNG's Forum: Bonus Whores | It could still be done. Just get more than 10 people in on it. How about we do it and let me win the million and I'll share it equally.
All kidding aside I'm sure for a million it could be worth the shot. Hell I'd do a lot more shit for a million.

| Posted by: Bankroll at July 7, 2005, 7:16 am | | Topic: Noble $1 Million for 7 SNG's Forum: Bonus Whores | I do not currently play at Noble. When I first read this post I thought it sounded like a tournament format, but quickly realized that that would take 10 million distinct players in order to play down to 1 winner... 10^7 like an NCAA bracket.
If it was completely random, which we all know it certainly isn't, your chances of winning 7 consecutive sit n go's would be 10 million to 1.
At first sight this may seem like an interesting promotion, but barring collusion I'm guessing it would be incredibly difficult to win 7 in a row. They currently have mini versions of these promotions going right now offering jackpots for players winning 5 in a row. One of these promotions is called Maui Jackpot sit n go and has the following T&C:
