About twice, I reckon. So it isn't no raked hands required at all really. Might get away with 1x,....maybe. On the other hand, they might see buying in for $1000 at the start of every month and emptying your account during the course of every month as bonus abuse even with a lot of play. Can't be sure with this lot. | | Static Link |

What does the royal VIP status give you?
Just looking for the reasons to be a VIP?

After investing 18k, Empire contacted him saying that due to the T&C concerning bonus abuse, they denied all of his bonuses. The bank came after him for all of the overdrafts on his checking account and repossed all of his assets including his computer so he can't get back on the internet to tell us that the scam doesn't work.

| Posted by: ed209 at August 15, 2005, 2:54 pm | | Topic: Empire VIP Program Forum: Bonus Whores | this has been discussed on 2+2 several times. here are two key things to know:
1. if you show them heavy play for a few months, Empire will "usually" bump you up to VIP status somewhere between 1000 and 2000 points.
2. the number of MTT's you play per day ($9 and above buy-in) is SQUARED. this is in addition to the 1 points per $1 entry free you already get. so I've heard of people get to VIP or even Royal Flush Club status (once already VIP) somewhat quickly by playing in 10-15 MTT's per day (earning as much as 200-500 points, plus entry fee points).
this of course doesn't mean that working towards VIP or RFC is even worth it to begin with (I personally only have about 450 points so far). but the people who did decide to go for it have been relatively satisfied with the perks. probably one of those things where it feels better reaching your goal than it does actually benefiting, but to each his own. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: pokerman403 at August 15, 2005, 1:48 pm | | Topic: Empire VIP Program Forum: Bonus Whores | Is it me or is this the most rediculous and impossible program ever? This is the way I have interpreted the program:
VIP Member= 5000 EP points
Raked Hands: You can accumulate points by playing raked hands. Square root the number of hands and that is how many points you will receive (i.e. 121 raked hands=11 points or 81 raked hands= 9 points). At 500 raked hands per day you would make 23 points. It would take you 217 days of nothing, but playing Empire or you could play 1000 hands a day and only have to play for 156 days.
or
Tourneys: 1 point for every 2 dollars of fees paid ( $20+2 touney= 1 point). Therefore you would have to play 5000 SnG's. At an hour per SnG that's, 208 days (5000/24hrs per day) of nothing but Sng's.
If this is wrong please let me know. I know the more hands you play a day will actually earn you less points, but who wants to spend 7 years of playing 1 hand a day. I looked through past topics and found next to nothing (noob). ... | | Read Entire Entry |
