With 50 hours to go a little over 3000 players are signed up for the first 100k with 2000 of them qualifying for the 8000 player monthly million.
Say 5000 play for the 100k - that's a $20 overlay.
8000 will play for the monthly million - $125 overlay
8000 will play for the monster which has grown to $7.1mm in a couple weeks. Let's say the pace of growth slows and it ends up at $20mm in 8 months. That's a $2500 overlay. | | Static Link |

how would they get to keep more money?? The tournaments would still run if poker was banned in the U.S. There would just be less players.
it seems like alot of players are unhappy with this promo for some reason.If your a decent sitngo/tourny player I think there is alot of value here.Sure you take a hit in getting in to the freerolls but it should be easy to make the money back plus some.I will be surprised if I can't get into at least 5-6 of the mill$ games. | | Static Link |

All the value being stolen from the cash games is being directed to the sit and go qualifiers. More specifically the 5/1 SnG qualifiers. It costs $6 with a seat probably having a cash value of around $250. If you add up 300 days*$100k(at the moment, it's more like 150k per day)+$16.2M Party are putting in and you're talking a total prize pool of around 45M. This means each 100k freeroll is really worth more like 1.5M. For a seat to be worth $250, you need under 6000 entrants is all. Not a big ask. If it carries on at 150k per day, those seats are worth well over 300 each. Only bad thing is you can only win 32 of them. That and no more multitabling at Party of course. | | Static Link |

Players were horrible at this level 5 out of 10 players were complete idiots.
I'll give the 20+2's a shot next.May be able to make a little profit and win entries.

It costs you on average $50 for a ticket in a STT qualifier ($40 in the $5+$1), since payouts for second and third are also reduced. And the top 2000 in the weekly advance to the monthly, top 1000 get paid.
The MTTs seem to be a bit cheaper than the STTs if there are less than 100 entrants (there are currently some $33 ones running with 70-80).
If you estimate $10 million for the final tourney, the value of a weekly tourney is $100k + $1 M / 4 + $10M / 32 or a bit more than $650k. So the weekly tickets have an overlay when there are less than 13k players per tourney.
Besides that there are probably plenty of fish in those, so i may give it a try. | | Static Link |

Of all the big freerolls..paradise,UB,stars ect. this seems to be the best plan.Not too tough to get in and the prize pool should be well over 10Mill by the time it kicks off | | Static Link |
