This is the same as last year, so the policy hasn't changed. Most of the big sites don't give you the cash until you are actually there.
My aussie millions was handled a similar way even though they have no laws here. They didn't actually buy my entry until i showed ID and stuff. | | Static Link |

But that brings up an interesting question - if you qualified online for the WSOP main event, who will actually play in the tournament, who pockets the cash, and who will decide to play a couple of smaller events and save some of the cash? Count me in the last group there.

If this is fully true, hopefully there will be some way around this. Can't find it on the official site so maybe not...
