| Posted by: GamblinFool at April 4, 2004, 1:32 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | | That's a casino bonus. Even though you deposit into the card room, you get a first deposit bonus for the associated casino, sands of the caribbean. You can use your poker login name at the casino, but you have to wager at the casino to clear that bonus, it will not clear from playing poker no matter how much you wager (I'm pretty sure). I don't remember what the terms were. 25X the bonus or somethign like that? If you play blackjack by the strategy card it's not too hard to clear. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: airodus at April 4, 2004, 1:12 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | I'm really new to internet poker. Usually play home game or at poker rooms. People tend to be a lot looser online, even though it is real money. And it's hard to get a read on players cause they are constantly coming and going compared to a real game.
But eventually, if they keep playing shitty cards, they're gonna lose money. Even tho I suffered more bad beats than I ever have, I still came out ahead. I think I'll just have to adjust my mentality.
BTW, I had an extra $15 deposited into my Caribbean Sun account (before I even cleared the 250 hand bonus). However I still can't withdraw it even after 250 hands. Anyone know what this bonus is and how to clear it? | | Static Link |

A the crypto sites I like to see a few good players at my table to balance out the bad ones. when there are 8 bad to 2 good I usually lose money but when it is about 5 bad to 5 good I come out ahead.crazy how it seems to work | | Static Link |
| Posted by: airodus at April 3, 2004, 11:21 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | i hear u kfellmy
i just took a whole string of REALLY bad beats. ppl calling 3 bets cold preflop with 36o and catching a string on the river, and stuff like that. and i was betting into them the whole time. sheesh
anyways, i just cleared the bonus. played 303 games, only 257 raked games. so it looks like it's total games, not raked games. someone update the first post | | Static Link |
| Posted by: airodus at April 3, 2004, 6:03 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | i'm not sure, i haven't even cleared my first bonus yet. hahah. i just noticed some people were debatign wether it was total hands or hands raked
well, i'll check at 300 hands played and see if it clears
i already coded a little java program to check how many hands were not raked. so far, it looks like roughly 20% of the hands aren't raked on a $1/$2 table based on my sample of 125 hands. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: airodus at April 3, 2004, 4:57 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | new whore here, just started today
anyways to check how many hands you have played, you can just check the hand history over however many sessions. subtract the current hand number from when you started clearing the bonus
now to determine the number of raked hands, you would have to cutnpaste the history into a file and input it into a parser. count up the instances of "Rake $0 <nl> Board" and subtract this amount from the total played
hard part is finding a parser. however it is pretty trivial to program and I will probably do so in my spare time
this is for the lazy people who don't want to pay attention to every hand and keep tally | | Static Link |

Also, what timezone does it go by for the one month reset?
I really wish these Crypto sites had an easy way to check your bonuses, like PartyPoker does.
I'm told all Crypto sites use one of the US timezones, can't remember which one but it worked out to about GMT+6 or 8.
The only way I know to check your bonus is to work out how much you should have after a session and then go into the My Account section of the Cashier. This is always up to date (often the email confirmations are way late). | | Static Link |

I know that 300 is what it says at the website, however, my bonus was released after 250 hands, thus my post.
Either way, a solid bonus.

I never get the confirmation email straight away but when I leave the table after the required number of hands and go to the cashier screen, the bonus always shows up as being released (i.e. balance = withdrawal limit). Seems unlikely but maybe it's different depending on when the account was created or something? (most of my CryptoLogic accounts were started in Oct/Nov 03) | | Static Link |

| Posted by: autopilot at March 31, 2004, 8:56 am | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | Hi, just a quick correction to the original post, all CryptoLogic hand related bonuses are for number of hands played, not number of raked hands. And ICP's requirement is now 300 hands played (was 250 when the bonus was $40). At least this is how it was at the start of March which is when I last played them.
The other CL sites not mentioned in the original post (I'm guessing they don't allow US players?) are:
William Hill UK - £25 (£5/hour)
UK Betting - £25 (£5/hour)
Littlewoods - £25 (250 hands)
Also, I live in the UK and have found that I was able to set up seperate accounts with William Hill UK and William Hill US (I tried it after someone at one of the tables mentioned they'd done it); so that's 8 monthly bonuses for a total of £125+$115. Long may it continue! . Whether or not people in the US can open a William Hill UK account I don't know but I thought I'd mention it..
Finally, Betfair signed a license agreement with CryptoLogic a couple of month... | | Read Entire Entry |
| Posted by: Guacamole at March 29, 2004, 10:52 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | | Got a nice offer from ICP today. They said they missed me and offered me 20 bucks if I come back and play one raked hand. I cashed out on the 7th of March, was planning on coming back the 1'st of April. Now I'll get 70 bucks in bonuses. Plus the 100 casino match, if still offered. ICP is just to nice to us. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: kfellmy at March 29, 2004, 10:23 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | minimum deposit is 25 i think but i put in 50. There is a very easy way to keep track of your hands. First get a piece of paper and a pen/pencil. When you start playing add a mark to your paper when the hand has a rake taken out. You will see the rake just under the dealer ships on the table.
LOL-no way I know of to track hands other then pen and paper.
Bonuses are for each calender month. You have two days to get in 700 hands and five more hours at WH. Good luck!!! | | Static Link |
| Posted by: gdchan at March 29, 2004, 6:51 pm | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | Hi again,
Is there a minimum I have to deposit for each of these Crypto-sites? If so, how much.
Also, is there a way to tell how many qualifying hand you've played so far?
Thanks again,
Garland

I'm trying to figure out if these bonuses are good every calendar month or they renew every 30 days since you sign up. I'm trying to figure out if I need to hurry up and claim my $205 for March while there still is a March to earn the $$!
Thanks,

| Posted by: jason_algayer at March 29, 2004, 7:18 am | | Topic: Crypto Bonuses in a Nutshell Forum: Bonus Whores | I have seen several people post info on the crypto-skins bonuses. I have some corrections the new info. and essentially just consolodated the in-whore-mation below Here are the bonuses:
(1) Intercasino ---- $50
For 250 raked hands
(2) Caribbean ---- $40
For 250 raked hands
(3) William Hill ---- $45 (NOT $25)
This is 5 POUNDS per hour (which is about $9.15/hour) so it is NOT $25 but rather a $45 bonus monthly
(4) TotalBet - $45
Same as Will Hill
NOTE: This site just recently started allowing US Players
(5) PokerPlex - $25
For 150 raked hands
Enjoy the monthly $205 in bonuses
