| Posted by: elric at April 29, 2004, 7:10 am | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | While I am not a huge fan of Prima it is hard for me to give up on them since I have won $100's of dollars off the terrible poker players they fill the rooms with. Golden Riviera seems to get its share of complaints but at least the bonus can be withdrawn in cash to your neteller account. And I find the 100 raked hands where you contributed to the pot not too terribly difficult for $50 in bonus money. Plus if you take two sessions to do it in you can play in six of their $1000 Freerolls.
A poker room like Piggs Peak with a sticky bonus sounds seriously bogus. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: JPMcMoney at April 29, 2004, 5:46 am | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | I have to say, after reading all the prima posts, I have no desire to put any money in there. I barely have enough time to clear the crypto monthlys and absolute and party skin reloads as it is. Now that summer is approaching, I will be scaling back to just the few top bonuses. I like being outside and golfing so that will start to take priority. I will still find some time for free money though....

| Posted by: xedubx at April 28, 2004, 3:29 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | | That is pretty shady. I haven't had problem like that before with them, but if that is the case, I won't play there either. I've actually had similar trouble with other prima ones lately since they actually want contribution to the rake for their rake requirement. Still, I'll keep on playing on prima because for me, it's still one of the easiest to poker room to win on. I'll definately avoid Piggs peak now though. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Guacamole at April 28, 2004, 1:49 am | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | Earlier this month I mentioned I got a 30 buck bonus on a 30 buck deposit at Piggs Peak. What I just found out is that they will never allow you to withdraw that 30 bucks.
Here's what happened. A couple days after my deposit I withdrew 220 bucks. Everything went just fine, got the money in four days. I had left 30 bucks in the account since I wasn't sure if I played enough to qualify for bonus requirement. About four days later I withdrew another 100. Left about 30 bucks in there also. It went fine, got the money in four days.
Then last week I decided to withdraw the remainder, a little under 100. The entire balance. Four days after my request they notify me that my withdrawl has been reversed back to my account. Now this is where it gets interesting.
I email them and ask what's up? I told them I've withdrawn several hundred already with no problems. They email back the first time and say I have only contributed 24 bucks in rake and I need to contribute 100 before I can withd... | | Read Entire Entry |

If indeed they wouldn't get credit for raked hands played by such players at their site, it makes little sense for them to try to induce them for game play then. Which makes me question the one sight for life debate.
As far as problems withdrawing from more than one prima site? It hasn't happened to me. I believe the problem comes from having 'seperate' accounts not recognized as being the 'same' person. So don't try to open seperate accounts through prima, only use the same account at each prima skin. If they offer you a 'special' offer, take advantage of it. Just don't try to collect initial signup bonuses from more than one, by representing yourself as a 'new' customer. That's where the problems lay.

I would not recommend that anyone open multiple Prima accounts under any circumstances.
There are multiple posts on 2 + 2 of people winning money playing legitimate poker only to have Prima Lockout their account and seize their winnings because they had multiple accounts. The very first site/skin you sign into the Prima network under gets a portion of your rake. So internally these sites are mortal enemies that would kill their own mothers for a nickel.
Hearing about peoples accounts being locked and money seized gives me a bad feeling about Prima in general. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Johnny Empire at April 8, 2004, 9:48 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | Yes, it does say that. Also when you register at a new Prima site you tick a box indicating you were at another Prima room, and your screen name carries over.
Despite that, Piggs and Golden Riviera gave me the first deposit bonuses. They don't have to, but for whatever reason they did for me. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: elric at April 8, 2004, 8:06 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | I went to Piggs Peak Poker and read the fine print. Hoping that Guacamole was right about being allowed multiple Prima bonuses. I found the following verbage that makes me think this is not allowed:
"The Piggs Peak Poker Room bonus is not available to you if you received a bonus from another Poker Room in the Prima Network."
Kind of a bummer as I would love to knock out Prima bonuses at all 25 sites. Found the master site at: http://www.primapoker.com/ | | Static Link |

Well its no wonder you get a lot of Prima emails... Like a professional Bonus Whore you have 3 accounts!

| Posted by: Johnny Empire at April 4, 2004, 11:21 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | Piggs Peak and Golden Riviera both gave me the sign up bonus even though I was signed onto Prima via Royal Vegas already. Both have good service, unlike Royal Vegas.
Perhaps other Prima Rooms are lenient also? Well... maybe not now that the subject has come up. (g) | | Static Link |
| Posted by: elric at April 4, 2004, 7:36 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | I believe JohnGalt is correct. If this is the case the Bonus at Golden Riviera will be easier to clear because it requires fewer raked hands where you contributed money to the pot.
Golden Riviera 100 raked hands for $50 bonus & $20 refer bonus.
Royal Vegas 250 raked hands for $40 bonus & $10 free money.
$70 for 100 raked hands or $50 for 250 raked hands...
At this point I would have to say Golden Riviera is way better than Royal Vegas. I am glad I signed up at Golden Riviera.

| Posted by: Guacamole at April 4, 2004, 10:06 am | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | I use to believe that you could only collect first time bonuses from Prima sites also, until Piggs Peak offered me 30 bucks for a 30 buck deposit. I emailed them that I already belonged to Royal Vegas and asked if that disallowed me from their offer. They emailed back the offer was still good for me. So I deposited and had no problem withdrawing a couple hundred bucks after I won a 1k freeroll there on first try.
As far as Piggs Peak goes, customer support is excellent compared to other prima sites. Email responses almost instantly, and always very polite and personal. Cashout took a couple extra days longer than Royal, but Royal is now next day for me. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: GamblinFool at April 3, 2004, 7:46 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | | Please note that according to royal vegas customer support, the requirement is NOT being "dealt into" 5 raked hands per dollar, but that you actually must BET in 5 raked hands per dollar. I know the website says otherwise, but they said to me that their website "is in the process of being updated", and that the policy on their website is not their actual policy, but the fake one they use to fool people (I'm paraphrasing at this point... you can tell I love these guys). | | Static Link |
| Posted by: elric at April 3, 2004, 7:07 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | Ok I got the scoop on Royal Vegas even though I don't play at that Prima skin a friend of mine signed up with them.
They will give you $10 Free but you have to be dealt cards in 50 raked hands to withdraw any of the $10.
Next they will give you a 40% deposit bonus upto a maximum of $40. So you need to deposit $100 to get the full bonus. You are required to be dealt cards in 5 raked hands per bonus dollar before you can remove the bonus money. So for $40 you will need to be dealt cards in 200 raked hands.
I have no experience with Royal Vegas as I am not eligible since I have already signed up on an alternate Prima Skin (Golden Riviera Poker). Apparently the Prima skins do not allow you to whore like you can on the Crypto skins. They warn that you will forfeit your money for bonus abuse, and with all the horror stories I am not about to test them.
Oh and the folks on 2 + 2 recommend you set your default cash-in method to Neteller or Firepay. Otherwise these bozos wil... | | Read Entire Entry |
| Posted by: elric at April 3, 2004, 11:53 am | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | I have played Golden Riviera. I used the download bonus and got $50 bonus dollars for my $50 deposit. Prior to cashing out of the matching bonus, the member must bet in 100 raked hands. The minimum purchase is $20 and I see no reason to deposit more than $50. While I have heard nothing but horror stories here and 2+2, I threw caution to the wind and deposited with Neteller played my hands won a bit and withdrew multiple times with no problems. If you use someone as a referral you will get an additional $20 in bonus money. The refer bonus only hits your account after you deposit and successfully clear 100 raked hands. But I think you can clear both bonuses at same time.
I recommend you deposit. Email support for your download bonus. Wait till it hits your account then play 50 raked hands. (If you lose count while trying to get 50 raked hands try and register for a $1000 Freeroll you will get a registration error if you have not cleared 50 raked hands in the last 24 hours.) | Posted by: Johnny Empire at April 2, 2004, 2:55 pm | | Topic: Some Prima bonuses Forum: Bonus Whores | I get a lot of Prima e-mail for some reason.
40% to $20 (deposit $50, get $20) at Golden Riviera Poker through 4/4/04. Send an e-mail to support@goldenrivierapoker.com to claim the $20.
20% to $20 (deposit $100, get $20) at Royal Vegas through 4/7/04. It doesn't say to, but I'd send an e-mail to Royal Vegas at support@royalvegaspoker.com to claim that bonus too.
I would guess you have to play 5x raked hands to clear the bonus but they don't specify.
