Virtually every other site has better bonus offers than this. $600 bonus? It might as well be $6000. Full Tilt is easily making money on these players in rake even if they cash out immediately. That being said, I have seen traffic increase subtantially and have also seen some pretty good games. | | Static Link |

Explain how this is "hard" to clear, without saying that it takes more hands than other sites. That doesn't make it hard, it just makes it take longer. All you have to do is play poker and break even. That's not hard.
I can go to Empire, play 2500 raked hands (approx. 2800-2900 hands) of very low limit poker, or I can go to Full Tilt and play 10k+ hands. You're right, it's not harder per se... but unless the games at FT are always rocking, the opportunity cost of not play Crypto or Party skins makes FT not worth bothering with.

It's funny, one hand hand you complain about there not being enough players, and on the other you complain about a bonus that makes players stay and play to earn it. I'm sure attracting a bunch of sharks who are just going to clean everyone out and leave is high on full tilt's priorities list...
You sure you're not getting any compensation for promoting them? Considering all your posts since you've signed up for these forums seem to be under this Full Tilt thread.
There's plenty of mention of people here playing at other sites with very difficult to clear bonus requirements. Full Tilt's is a bit over the top though. I want something attainable (even if it's difficult); not something completely out of reach. This is ridiculous. I played 108 hands of stud8 last night and saw 7 quads!?!?!?!? I also had a straight flush on 5 cards. Lots of boats too and straight scoopers, very lively. The holdem game seemed normal though but tight. I lost $200 and worked off a whole $30 after 2 tabling for 4-5 hours. IMO it just isnt worth the trouble. | | Static Link |

I will regularily sign on to see what games are being offered. If there is anything juicy, I might play for an hour or two. Otherwise, I will move on to another site that is offering a better bonus. This is a start. Hopefully they will figure out in order to get a lot of players excited about this bonus they must MAKE IT EASIER TO CLEAR. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: CyndyE at September 4, 2004, 2:05 pm | | Topic: Full Tilt 100% bonus up to $600 Forum: Bonus Whores | Something to think about:
Since this bonus clears in 20% of bonus amount increments, and you determine how much you deposit for bonus...
You could deposit the minimum ($50?) and need only to clear a single $10 bonus increment.
This would be small enough to "test" the site without committing to endless hands.
If you like it, you clear the other $40 and wait for the next offer. If not, you got a quick $10 bonus.
They are trying to build their base, so they certainly will make more offers in the future (so leaving the remaining $550 of possible bonus on the table is not so bad).
This might be worth a try. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: HajiShirazu at September 4, 2004, 1:44 pm | | Topic: Full Tilt 100% bonus up to $600 Forum: Bonus Whores | So let me get this straight. 600 bonus, six cents a point. So 10,000 points.
I see one game in the lobby where you would get 1 point a hand and that's 2/4 NL which I have no intention of playing anyway. I don't see where people are getting this 1 point a hand stuff. That requires a dollar to be raked, which isn't happening here. The pot sizes seem to be around 14 big blinds in the NL games, of course going down as you go up in stakes, and the rake is five percent. So depending on stakes, it looks like about three tenths to eight tenths of a point per hand. Also all of the games are terrible, flop percentages in the twenties and low thirities on nine handed tables. So it's looking like around 20,000 hands if I wanted to play .25 nl and maybe 15,000 if I wanted to play .50 nl.
In other words, I would be better of spending my time doing some crappy 3 card bonus, or just playing regularly at party. | | Static Link |

I think not too...it's one of the worst bonuses out there, playing 1/2 the MAX rake is $1 so the MAX bonus is 6 cents an hand. The average pot in the Limit 1/2 currently is $11 and I've only seen 2 hands go over the $20 in the last half/hour so you'll earn 4 points or 24 cents/hour plus a few pennies from the odd fraction of a point.
Seems even worse than Ultimatebet and I didn't think that was possible.
Seems as bad as any pokerstars also and those bonuses are total crap..
I aint touching this either.. it sucks. | | Static Link |

There's not that much. The whole point of this bonus is to attract players. It's not the greatest "whoring" bonus, but it's pretty nice if you intend to play there.
Right now (and it's 12 noon, it picks up at night) the following games are going...
1 3/6 fixed
1 2/4 NL
1 1/2 fixed average pot $11 ppf 61% hands/hour 82

Well, at Crypto sites you earn about 16 to 18 cents per hand.
At FullTilt you'll earn 6 or 12 or 18 cents per raked hand.
If enough are raked at a high enough rake, it could be, if the games are soft. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: UTGunner at September 3, 2004, 7:56 am | | Topic: Full Tilt 100% bonus up to $600 Forum: Bonus Whores | from a 2+2 post just posted:
Ok, it seems most of you don't play Full Tilt so I'll help explain this.
With this bonus, you earn .06 towards your bonus for each Full Tilt Point awarded.
1 full tilt point = $1 rake
Max rake = $3, max FTP = 3 per hand.
So for every hand played with a $3 rake, you earn $.18 towards your bonus. You can also earn fractional points for hands where the rake is not $1, 2 or 3 exactly.
The good think about this bonus is, while the rake rebate bonus was based on your own rake paid, for this bonus you don't have to be in the hand to collect FTP you just have to be at the table. | | Static Link |

They said you could earn 18 cents per hand. Thats 667 hands to reach $120. Of course only hands that get raked the maximum $3 would earn at that rate, so it will obviously take a lot more hands in reality. | | Static Link |

You have 90 days to clear your bonus from deposit date.
They release 20% of your bonus at a time. So if you make a $600 deposit, they will release it in $120 increments (about 700 hands for each increment minimum). How many hands will it really take to clear each increment?
I'm thinking of making the $600 deposit and releasing the first incremment and then deciding whether to continue.
Are the games soft enough and plentiful enough to do this? | | Static Link |
