The starting bankroll they give (apparently for free) is $75 with another $25 that have a rake hand requirement. I would never sign up this way myself because it precludes other sign up bonus and rakeback deals, but for the original poster on this thread, it seems like just the sort of thing he is looking for. I got the money from the dutch guy and deposited 85$ on IP (due to exchange rates, i lost of few $) and cleared the bonus in 3 days. Then I played a bit more on the site and won a bit in their rather easy to place in MTT's. I cashed out 290$ which now are only 282$ cause I had a € neteller account (Use $'s when you start out, even if you're european like me) and had to transfer into my new $ neteller account. I deposited on Truepoker half an hour ago and cashed out of there 25 minutes ago for 571$. Within 48 hours, that should appear in my neteller account and then I'll check out the casino thingie. I also have about 350$ on prima which I'll leave there for now as I'm not that keen on depositing anything on that network. So, all in all, it looks like some real whoring is coming up for me as it's almost december 1st and the Crypto's all have to be whored next month. Then I won $5 again, in another freeroll. That $5 has turned into $2300. I estimate $1000 of that is from being a good whore, the other $1300 is luck/skill.
I think freerolls are the best way to learn. Why use your own money to figure out you can't beat the game? If you can't win freerolls, you can't win any poker at all so just forget about it. | | Static Link |

Casino Whoring is best for starting out because you can start with $100 instead of $500. It's faster than poker generally, and there is less thinking involved because BJ strategy cards tell you what to do. Hit Starluck, Planetluck, Casino On Net, monthly bonuses, the various no-deposit free chips (if you want); etc. You'll be at $500 in a month or two, then hit the poker rooms.
Even now I make as much Casino whoring as Poker whoring. You are missing out if you do only one side.

Total anomality I guess (I've played all the iGm-casinos using the same basic strategy from wizardofodds and all the other ones have actually been over EV).
And to make things even worse I only played $1 bets. If I would have played $10 it would be more understandable.

Here's an example:
You learn to play blackjack, which basically means printing out a page from www.wizardofodds.com with the strategy chart on it.
You sign up for Starluck casino, either from this website or from a tell-a-friend offer (I think you get an extra $25 for the tell-a-friend?)
You deposit $100. They give you an extra $100. You play $1600 worth of blackjack ($1 or $2 at a time); which will take a few hours. You lose $30 in the process. You cash out $170. Done. Or maybe you win $30, and cash out $230. Either way | | Static Link |

I placed sixth in the Empire 'we miss you' freeroll and won $450. With that start I worked it up to $3500 as of yesterday sinply doing the cryptos and Party reloads and a couple of casino bonuses here and there (thank you Nostalgia!).
Having said that, I would reccommend getting a hundred bucks together and starting with the few good casino bonuses left.
Or, since you can withdraw from a Party Skin right away, borrow and deposit $500 into Party for the max bonus. Withdraw $400 and leave $100 to play off the bonus.

Frankly, a tiny account of scared money is doomed for failure. Minimum of $500 initial money and then work on your game while clearing bonuses. Consider it an investment in developing your game and when you become a winning player .. money isn't much of an issue anymore.
