I wonder if I should just withdraw my money minus the bonus. I dont play any prima sites regularly but I still wouldnt want to get banned on them incase I want to retry the gamingclub. | | Static Link |

There is an Australia online casino named Lasseters. Owned and hosted on Australian shores, yet as an Australian resident i am not permitted to play there. Yet i can go and gamble on a server located on the Isle Of Mann. Rather senseless. | | Static Link |

This passed one side of the state legislature, but failed to get passed the second. I would think something has got to give at some point with the legality issue, but then again internet gambling has been around for almost a decade and not a lot has changed one way or the other. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: shebang at August 22, 2005, 7:06 pm | | Topic: Parbet, easiest prima bonus yet Forum: Bonus Whores | When i played Parbet several months ago, they did allow Americans. Maybe they have changed since then. I certainly would not have played there if that was not the case. I wouldn't risk having my account frozen in order to go after a small bonus. Someone PM'ed me that he had emailed the site and they confirmed they did not want Americans.
I know for sure Expekt does NOT allow Americans; that's what they replied to my last week's email.
It has all to do with those silly US gambling laws that some internet sites are sensitive to. The US has no jurisdiction over the internet. However, under US tax laws one is liable for taxes on gambling profits, no matter where you make those profits. | | Static Link |

Unclear U.S. gambling law. Justice Dept. says gambling on internet poker/casinos/sports betting etc. is illegal under the Wire Act, which makes it illegal for anyone in the U.S. to place a wager using a phone line.
What exactly the internet is, blurs the lines of that law. There have only been a few cases where the Justice Dept. has enforced this so far. I believe they also involved not paying taxes on winnings. Naught, Naughty, that's how Al Capone got taken down.

It's an easy little bonus to clear; did it while i sneezed. Yes, they did take out the withdrawal fee but still okay (i have neteller; don't know about other withdrawal methods).
Expekt, unfortunately, does NOT allow Americans. Don't even bother to try with some phony address. As far as i know, this is the only prima with this residence restriction. | | Static Link |

Am I being paranoid? It seems as though some Americans have been successful though, no? Please PM me and discuss your thoughts on this. Thanks. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: SirFBacon at August 21, 2005, 10:25 am | | Topic: Parbet, easiest prima bonus yet Forum: Bonus Whores | You're right, I don't think they WANT Americans. I used the "US outlying territories", or whatever from the pulldown, and entered my correct address.
If asked, I was going to pretend to be stupid...
I didn't run into any problems, except having to send a couple of emails to get the withdrawal back to Neteller. | | Static Link |

Wow, when I wrote my message last night about being almost done I was actually referring to Golden Riveria! Ugh, so many Prima bonuses it is sometimes hard to keep track. At the point of my message last night I had finished the Parbet bonus and was waiting for it to arrive.
Well, this morning I check my account and bingo, there it is.
So this confirms that at the time of this writing the Parbet bonus is 100 raked hands, dealt. No need to contribute to the pot and a very nice, easy bonus at 100 hands. My account was created yesterday so that is recent too.
Good luck everyone!
PS - Im not sure about the american player thing. Im from canada and didnt run into any problems, but we all know this doesnt mean anything. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Loke at August 20, 2005, 8:08 pm | | Topic: Parbet, easiest prima bonus yet Forum: Bonus Whores | I just went to their site and looked. It says 100 hands. This isn't a cached version or anything because I'd never been to the site.

Certainly will. I got most of the raked hands already, so will be finishing it off tomorrow morning. Depending on their weekend customer service (not holding my breath) I should know in a day or two. | | Static Link |

Don't know if they changed this back or I have some outdated T&C. Guess I'll find out when I get the bonus or not. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: LeftofCool at June 26, 2005, 3:40 pm | | Topic: Parbet, easiest prima bonus yet Forum: Bonus Whores | | I forgot about this one and when I went back to the site to check the T&C's, I saw that it had been raised to 200 raked hands. Still not a bad deal though, most Prima sites want 250 raked hands for $50. | | Static Link |

Well, it is still an ok good bonus but they moved the raked hands up some. I am debating it. I do not like the fee that much. Makes it more like a 5x now I guess. Prima is fun to play at though. | | Static Link |

The site mentioned a 2.5% fee, but this may be for withdrawal other than via Neteller. Hard to tell from the wording and placement within the message...you could read it either way. Time will tell either way. | | Static Link |

not a bad idea, but i prefer to make money off the fish at the 1\2 prima tables while collecting the bonuses. Although, the games are definitely getting tighter at those levels, im assuming due to it being whoring heaven. | | Static Link |

Yes, had the same problem. I mailed the support and they told me to log out and then to login again, this time writing my password in only small letters. Sounds kinda stupid but it worked.
Then I sent another mail claiming the bonus (almost 24 hours ago) but haven't got any reply to that. They were fast when I needed to deposit but slow when I wanted money from them
Typing my password all in lower case worked as well. | | Static Link |
