I really don't see that happening very often either, unless it's just a donk out bluff and 95% they fold to raises. Are people min-betting specifically at you or just in general? If it's directed at you maybe you are folding to min bets a lot? | | Static Link |

But it is interesting that such an established player as you, Alan, are a proponent of this style. | | Static Link |

Playing small pot poker also helps to make it more about skill than luck since you're actually playing hands instead of just getting it all in preflop due to pot commitment from a too large raise. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: ColinW at June 18, 2008, 4:04 pm | | Topic: Tournament bet sizing Forum: Bonus Whores | In the latter stages of tournaments you see a lot of min betting and min raising, regardless the size of the pot. Anyone else notice this?
At first I just thought these guys were fools, and I still stick with the pot size bets or thereabouts. But you see guys having success with this strategy in some stages, as they simply don't put their stacks at risk when bluffing or holding a second best hand. Anyone do this? What's the reasoning? | | Static Link |
