Despite the fact the Reds are playing solid ball, and Ken Griffey Jr. has owned the Cards starter Kyle going 11-7 with three homers and a average of .636, I like the Cards to put more pressure on the Reds for the division lead, as the Cards have beaten the Reds 6 out of 8 contest over the past month.
With a win today the Cards could share the lead with Cincinnati in the NL Central. When playing divison opponents, the Cards have racked up a solid 25-14 record. The Cards offensively have fared well against Reistma as 7 Cards players have averages of .333 or better against him.
