Yes, just like PokerRoom, this bonus clears far better at higher limits - $2/$4 and above, and the higher you go, the quicker it goes. I would hesitate to say it is bad to make that deposit and tie up $600 for 2 days - I've been building them up for the last year, long before I played at limits I could afford to clear this at. Remember this: This bonus does NOT expire. Even if you can't afford the limits right now, any whore with a reasonable bankroll would be a fool to not stack these up for a future date. I clicked on "Show Complete Reload History" on the Stars site page. Then again, I just noticed that was just since 1/04, so they might have more bonuses before then.
EDIT: Looking at your bonus history and comparing it to that table, the "complete reload history" missed the One Billionth Hand bonus, so that makes 13.

1371 hands at $1 / $2 NL
159 hands at $2 / $4 NL
489 hands at $3 / $6 NL
Despite losing over $150 at $3 / $6, still finished up about $1375 + the bonus... not bad for 12 hours work...

People play .50/1.00 limit trying to clear bonus but very few pots will reach the 50 cents rake to get a FPP towards the bonus. So, then they migrate up to 1/2 limit and play super tight. Few pots will reach the 75 cents rake to reach a FPP at that limit. The people normally playing 1/2, out of exasperation, will migrate up to 2/4 and play much tighter there as well. Once in a while you can jump on some loose games but those occasions are rare. Typically they have big waiting lists and by the time you get a seat there the people who got a seat before you play super tight and few FPPs again. Didn't keep time, but I'm confident it was anywhere from 4-6 real life hours. The games were juicy (but this is from a guy who thinks even the prima games are soft) and very plentiful.
