Forum: Bonus Whores | You know, I've made a good amount of money from BW, so I say, to hell with rakebacks. I'm staying loyal to BW and using their banners. I only wish I hadn't signed up at so many sites before finding this place.
I started looking for RB once, but that was before I understood that they are BW competitors. I don't think a lot of noobs know this, so have I got this right: It's pretty damn tacky to ask about and give info on these forums for what amounts to BWs competitors? I'm staying loyal. Forum: Bonus Whores | | I plan on signing up for interpoker today and clearing the bonus on tuesday wiht their Aces promo. Ill prob have 4 1-2 nl tables going. Since this is the only day Ill probaly play on interpoker this month should I bother doing a rakeback. I have yet to do a rakeback deal, just signup through the bonuswhores banners, so Im not sure if its even worth it. | | Static Link |

On both posts. In the first I never even stated you could get rb even with an account open, just told people to look around. Like I did, and the post that followed asked the question.. Which I still didn't anwser, and havn't received PM.
As far as bending the rules, I didn't at all. I followed the rules. If they allow you to make a new account, then whats wrong with that..
The real tricks I have to bend the rules of certan sites, I have never told to another person who would profit from it. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: RobDoral at December 14, 2005, 5:04 pm | | Topic: New Whores!Make SURE You Get Rakeback deal! Forum: Bonus Whores | Might want to be a little careful. If the powers that be think you're cruising for customers you might run into some trouble. RB affiliates are generally BW competitors and the mgmt. also doesn't like talk of multiple accounts (or how to bend the rules to make them), especially when they have solid relationships with the poker sites in question. People already have itchy notify mod fingers around here. Hell, I hit notify mod on my OWN post in reply to a spammer until I figured out I'd hit the wrong button. I guess all I did was notify the management that I'm occasionally a dumbass.
As a side note, I got deals in place for a handful of sites that I might play at longterm. As a whore, I've never bothered with rb otherwise and just used the BW banners when I wanted to try a new site (or wrote in Bonus Whores in the "learned about us" part if there wasn't a banner in place at the time). On 3 of them I have a negative balance that will just get worse if they offer any more bonuses and on ... | | Read Entire Entry |

| Posted by: grimgrin at December 14, 2005, 1:43 pm | | Topic: New Whores!Make SURE You Get Rakeback deal! Forum: Bonus Whores | | I asked a rakeback person about Absolute rakeback, they said that I need to ask Absolute to close my account and then I need to reopen a new one through rakeback. They also said to tell Absolute what I am doing 1st to make sure it is ok with them. I emailed Absolute to which they replied twice "Regarding your concern, we do not offer rakebacks." They have no idea what they are doing, and Absolute isn't great enough that I am going to keep chasing after them. I have enough other sites to play on. | | Static Link |

Talk to a rakeback person who offers AP RB and see what they say. AP is so desperate for players that I'm sure something can be arranged legally.
If they'd fix their shitty software, maybe they wouldn't be so desperate for players, IMHO. | | Static Link |

Interpoker DO NOT deduct bonuses earned from MGR-Interpoker are also very helpful when opening a new account in order to get RB. One of the very few sites that dont seem to mind
Caribbean Sun DO deduct bonus from MGR | | Static Link |

For example, last month a 2 tabled 6-handed $2/4 L. After the 210 raked hands I had $40 in bonus plus another $17.80 in rakeback. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: shoe478 at November 30, 2005, 4:05 pm | | Topic: New Whores!Make SURE You Get Rakeback deal! Forum: Bonus Whores | Rakeback is great for when you run out of bonus to clear. Here lately though, there has been plenty of bonus. I just try to get the most I can when i sign up for a site.
I don't know about playing at Eurobet anymore. You have to contribute to a raked hand to get any rakeback from it. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: RobDoral at November 30, 2005, 3:21 pm | | Topic: New Whores!Make SURE You Get Rakeback deal! Forum: Bonus Whores | Cool, I wasn't aware of that about Eurobet, but that may be a thing of the past since it joined the Poker Room network. I've read that the rb program will be reevaluated in December.
One comment. While getting a rb deal might not hurt a player, it certainly doesn't help a site like BW. If there's a site you're likely to play at long term even without a bonus, it makes sense to get a rb deal and I don't think the BW people would begrudge you too much for going to a competitor for that (just don't throw it in their faces).
But for sites where you just hit a bonus and run I'd argue that it makes more sense to use the Bonus Whores links than bother tracking down a rb affiliate. The various Party Poker reload codes alone in the last few months that have appeared here first have more than made up for the small amount of rb I might have missed out on for sites where I cleared the bonus and never went back (especially the glitch codes that quick and tricky whores had to hit fast to get). | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Sand101 at November 30, 2005, 2:26 pm | | Topic: New Whores!Make SURE You Get Rakeback deal! Forum: Bonus Whores | Short list of places that don't subtract MGR from bonuses:
Absolute
PokerPlex
Short list that subtract a percentage:
Eurobet (25%?)
Ultimate Bet (25%)
For all of these four there is no reason not to get rakeback. You can't lose out. | | Static Link |

1 of the Sides is Absolute another is eurobet
and the rakeback deal with Absolute pays off just fine when you play a lot of hands there, even at 1/2 or 2/4 | | Static Link |
| Posted by: ed209 at November 30, 2005, 11:39 am | | Topic: New Whores!Make SURE You Get Rakeback deal! Forum: Bonus Whores | I've been whoring for a LOT longer than you have, and I still see virtually no use for rakeback so far. even at $2/4, your affiliate is only going to pay you about 2-3c per raked hand at full ring (4-5c shorthanded), with most bonuses still deduced from MGR. surely there are enough regular 10x bonuses still out there which pay better (even absolute with the new 50c rake requirement, is worth more even WITHOUT rakeback if you play $2/4), that you don't ever have to depend on affiliate money to make ends meet. and even if you do play enough hands per month to exhaust all the 10x, there are plenty of virtually bottomless bonuses like Bodog, Action Poker, Tribeca, Pokerroom skins, Full Tilt and others which are all worth significantly more at all limits than the typical 25-30% rakeback.
you probably don't have to worry about rakeback until you are multiabling at least $5/10 LHE or $2/4 NL. by the time that happens, you'll probably be able to find at least ONE site that you haven't signed up for already... | | Read Entire Entry |
| Posted by: maxcavsm at November 30, 2005, 10:36 am | | Topic: New Whores!Make SURE You Get Rakeback deal! Forum: Bonus Whores | You know, there's not a lot on here about rakeback, and I found out about it a few weeks into my run as a whore. Now it's week sixteen, and I'm starting to really wish that every site that I ever started, that I had done the research and gotten rakeback deals on every site.
Why? Because when I started, playing lower limit places like the Party Skins and such, I was actually making negative rakeback numbers (which I only found out is possible AFTER playing for a month), so I wasn't getting any cash from a lot of these places.
So I stopped bothering, thinking that my bonuses would be the only cash I would be clearing.
Wrong. And costly.
I've moved up in my gameplay, and have moved to the 2/4 tables, and now I CURSE myself daily for not having rakeback deals with all the places I play at.
Eventually, if all goes well, you will move up in the tables to harder fare. Make sure you're getting paid proportionally for it. Don't make the same mistake! | | Static Link |
