Dave R,
I was wondering if our path would ever cross again. I quit playing at Acropolis after those "strange" happenings started with the software upgrade. I had an attack of a statistically "impossible" run of cards by the dealer at Acropolis.
That, plus their payout system wasn't real good, and my general distrust of online gaming forced me into temporary retirement.
I am back for a bit, but may "retire" again soon, as I just can't seem to get the endorphins flowing with this "win, wait & sweat to get paid off" system.
I will be posting "A tale of 3 casino's (payoff systems)" soon.
Best of luck to you.

DaiLun, welcome back to our humble abode!
I remember you from a LONG time ago from my days at Acropolis and Intercasino. I remember you emailing me stating you won quite a bit of money at Acropolis/Avalon and were waiting for payment. (I thought that was where you hit your first royal?)
This was approx 2 years ago, and Acropolis had one of the best blackjack games on the net. I made a number of deposits/withdrawals with them, and never had a problem. I was way ahead of the game, and a ery happy camper. At the time, they only accepted Visa and not Mastercard. Then they finally started accepting Mastercard, and I made my first ever depsoit with it. I was playing with black chips -playing 2 hands at the same time. I had several doubles and splits, and twice I won 2 doubles and splits at the same time. The cash was just rolling in.
I ended up cashing out with approx $4600.
Little did I realize the nightmare I was in for. Apprarently, Acropolis never had a merchant account with Ma... | | Read Entire Entry |

Congratulations! You are the first person that ever "got it". No, I am ABC from USA, and I've been using that moniker for about 6 years. It's an inside joke with most of my friends (and girlfriends) Hee Hee!

The $527389436465 got eaten up in fees at islandbreezecasino.com. The rest, well...check will be processed shortly.
Oh yeah, they forgot to tell you about that cash out policy....HUGH fees.
Welcome to the board, DaiLun. Thanks for the tips!

just in case any of the regulars gets suspicious, even though I posted 3 reviews in such short order, I'm not a shill. I have been gambling (in casinos) for about 25 years, and have been internet gaming on and off for 2 years. Started at InterCasino, Golden Palace (thank goodness I quit there a Long Time ago), Acropolis (until they started cheating, IMHO), and others. I have recently started again, but all the posts have convinced me to "retire" again. I recently had a good run at three internet casinos, but all these posts about questionable payoffs have me worried. I am monitoring the expected payofs and will report my findings. I thank all of the posters for their invaluable advice and experiences. I hope to contribute likewise. I will be sending in OPA dues whether I continue to play or not because the players need advocates like the OPA!
