There you go, Dude - you see if you're upfront you'll get feedback BUT the obligation is on you not to abuse your acceptance by trying more subtle spam (the last effort was a bit clumsy btw).
Declare yourself as you now have done, participate, give useful input where you can but above all listen and learn here and on other good boards.
And if the urge to spam overcomes you now and then zip over to Casino Billboard on this site and do your thing.
I am a (hopefully) somewhat more experienced marketing consultant in this business and I can tell you that membership is both aluable and interesting - and downright amusing on occasion.
You also should know that Mary is a formidable opponent if you want to get into a "debate". And she has this talent for finding out things too.

Everybody deserves a second chance.
I am willing to
If you get a good casino promo come back and post it on the promotions board.
If you want other boards with sections for promos. Just identify yourself and ASK if you can leave a promo.
Don't worry you will get a response REAL quick Yes OR No.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

I didn't realize it took four years of marketing school to learn honesty. Did they let you near the cash register at Starbucks?
So don't give me that, "I'm new, forgive me." routine Java Boy. I bet you use that line on girls all the time.
Man, when these twentysomething boy toys come a trotting online and think they can just wave their goatees and piercings and we'll all roll over 'cause they're just so cute and forgive them for being new, oh, So I wasn't honest, in multiple postings, please forgive me...

Thanks for acting like an adult Mary.*slight sarcasm*
I never meant to 'weasle' my way in here, i simpy took the wrong approach, and for this i apologize. Like i have said(twice in fact) i am new at this. Not "i just got out of four years of marketing school" new, but new as in, "i was working at starbucks only a few weeks ago and i got offered this job", new. I am learning as fast as i can, but i still make mistakes. Please give me a second chance. If not, that's your(collective) decision.
Thanks for your time.

Oooooh! A real live Marketing Weasel! actually, I'd be interested to find out if spam actually works. As a casino marketer, you have limited options. You can:
1.spam
2.click-through banner ads
3.selective posting on message boards with promotion sections (hint, hint)
4.conventional advertising--billboards, magazine ads, tv, radio, etc.
5.trying to create press buzz, including writing articles yourself for portal sites and magazines
incidentally, not only was your post spam, it was an attempt to gather information deceitfully. You could have come online and said you were a marketer and gotten useful responses, but you had to bs us. My advice is, don't bother with Starnet--there are already so many Starnet sites online that you couldn't possibly rise above the clutter. And if you want to stay in any business, grow up and act like an adult. DOn't get all huffy if spam is spotted. Not only are you a Marketing Weasel, you are a Slimy Marketing Weasel

Ok, i have come to straighten out a few things.
1. I did not SPAM
2. I AM new to the industry. I am a Casino Marketer, and All Action Casino (no, url this time...i'm learning) is a possible client. I was trying to get some opinions on their site. And some of your favorites to compare to.
3. Moneytour, I knew of Starnet because, like them, i am situated in Vancouver, a few blocks away. They have made their way into the paper a few years back(not positively) but since then, seem to be making changes for the better. Though in no way am i affiliated with them. Now you understand why i mentioned Starnet, because All Action Casino uses Starnets software.
Sorry fo rthe controversy this has apparently caused, i'll try abide by your obviously strict guidelines.
Peas.

Of course you liked it, I agree with the others and am quite sure that you bought the rights to one of their URLS and built yourself a nice little Starnet Casino of your ery own.
It is about 99.99999% UN-likely that a newbie would know what a Starnet Casino is. And if they did read articles online about gambling then they would not chose that particular one to mention in their first post. Especially since he said he checked out a lot of them.
I have nothing against Starnet.
But if it smells like spam it's always spam.

Yes you were (and are) right Prosper.
This guy is a ringer - a little (just a little) smarter than the usual morons but still just a plain old spammer.
The solution to these guys is if players simply made a point of NOT clicking on their urls, but I guess that will never happen and they will continue to get in our faces.
Chuck and Max have the right idea in giving them their own Casino Billboard section where they can spam to their heart's content and where players who are interested in their blandishments can go to check them out.
But you'll notice that even with that facility they still clog up the legit board.

I have no personal problems with Starnet, and have played at several Starnet casinos.
By "generic", I meant that, while I have played at several Starnet sites, they all are EXACTLY alike.
"Generic" support from Starnet is generally good, except it can not deal with any issues specific to one casino (e.g. special promotions). Also, some sites like Casino On Air cut their own checks, and the Starnet support can't look at their accounting.
Good luck.

Dude,
I personally stay away from Starnet becuase I never know when the government might freeze their bank accounts *again*. The RCMP & other law enforcement agencies raid even made Time magazine. You can find all the details, buried among amusing anti-Starnet rants, at gamblingmagazine.com
As for recommended casino. I'm going to say try Jetset first. Their casino representative on this forum and in other enues restores my faith that humanity can run an onlilne casino.

Hello Dude
WELCOME WELCOME
Being a new player is a little scary.
Don't know who to trust etc.
Best thing to do is get the protection of an organized group of players who will help you.
No NOT the mob
An organization I belong to and so do many of the others here is the www.onlineplayersassociation.com
They have casinos they recommend, not too many. They also have casinos to stay away from, quite a few.
It costs only $25 to join for an entire year. If you play at one of their recommended casinos and you get ripped off, (which I am sure will not happe), and the facts show this, they will protect you up to $500.
They also have special deals and promotions whcih ONLY their members can receive. I have played at some of them and they are GREAT.
The OPA is headed by Steve Adkins.
Good Luck and WELCOME>

Thank you for the warm welcome prosperity9035. I'm glad(*cough*cough*sarcastic*cough*cough)
to see you helping me out with useful information.
Do YOU know any different(about Starnet)? I have read some articles, checked out some of their Casinos, and am, in general liked what i saw.
I am currenly asking for SUGGESTED casinos.
i just dont want to end up one of those people on this board, complaining how 'such n such casino' screwed them over. Maybe you could help instead of hinder?

Ya, thank you James.
But by generic, do you mean generic 'bad', or generic 'good'? Isnt Starnet a respected company, i've heard mostly good stuff about them lately, though i dont know about the long run.
What site would you suggest, as a seasoned online gambler?

Generic Starnet site with generic Starnet customer support.
Shaun (MoneyTour) recently posted that despite posted rules at some Starnet sites, if you request a check after playing less than your deposit they will put the money back in your account. However, you CAN withdraw your original deposit if you lose the bonus, so it can still be risk-free.
Did I get that right?
I can not personally erify this, as I have never played less than my deposit.

Hello, y'all.
I just discovered the realm of online Gambling, much to my delight, and was wondering if anyone knew anything about AllAction Casino. I happened onto their site, and really liked the layout. I tried the usual precautions(phoned customer support, e-mailed them, etc) and was pleased with the response. I also like the no b*s 10% bonus(in theory, all ya got to do is wager the bonus, and it's yours). But what are your experiences? Here's the url, http://www.allactioncasino.com . Feel free to give me the lowdown(if ya got it).
Thanks!
