I got this from the Alps casino Home page:

"Alps Casino is managed by an Antiguan Company called NetStrategies, Inc. NetStrategies has been in the online casino business for two years and has managed other reputable casinos such as Aces Casino. Our company's number one objective is customer satisfaction."

Geez, they couldn't even copy it correctly. Of course unless they actually meant to SAY "antigun".

BTW, Alps Casino correctly spelled their name throughout their webpage. <G>

Mary,

I'm gonna take a stab at this and guess that they meant to say "Antiguan" instead of "Antigun". This in light of a spelling similarity between the two, they are licensed in Antigua, plus they can't even spell their own company's name correctly ( "Maveric" (sic) is misspelled) on the home page.

Just my guess,

DaiLun

P.S. I would not play there just for their spelling mistakes. <G>

Can anybody explain this to me? What the heck is an "antigun company"? They lobby against the NRA (National Rifle Association, the biggest political lobbying arm in the USA, protecting every homeowner's right to make guns available to their children...)

"Maverick's Casino is managed by an antigun company called NetStrategies, Inc. NetStrategies has been in the online casino business for tow years and has managed other reputable casinos such as Aces Casino, Aspen Casino and Alps Casino. Our company's number one objective is customer assurance, support and satisfaction.

Did Maverick go down? That was one they specifically recommended I look at at WGC.

I think Maverick Casino was Innoco software as well?

Looks like Rated Player is the second Innoco software site to go down, after Playboys. Clearly, as a software provider, they are not interested in upholding a reputation for reliable casinos; neither one of these was in operation ery long.

"Did Playboys ask for rigged software or did they compromise code themselves?"

They probably ordered it. Personally, I wouldn't play at any Innoco sites. What constitutes "rigged" can be in the eye of the beholder, after all, we accept that all reel slot games are set to a payout percentage that has nothing to do with how many symbols are on the reels. Those used to be mechanical devices with calcuable odds.

Rated Player seem to have two different Warrens doing the support! There's Warren Cloud and Warren Howroyd who have emailed me. I don't know why they told Radio Boy it was proprietary software and they were the only ones using it when Playboys Casino was using it. Anyway, I suppose the software company Innoco would have got a cut of Playboys profits? It was definitely rigged and and I don't see how they can defend the software being fair one minute and then totally rigged the next without any warning. I don't think the actual software changed, so in that case something was going on in the server for the casino and Innoco would probably control that. It's hard to believe though that Innoco would really rig their games for licensees if they want to be reputable. It wasn't even subtle at Playboys.

casino.org used to be another casino. It recently redirected to playboyscasino.com but now it points to some other casino called casinoduck or something. It's an HTML casino and a lot of the graphics loo...

It's worse than I thought then. I thought it wasn't in the software but in the server. I'm not sure how the casino server works but if each casino has their own one, I thought Playboys might have rigged it. I think it started off fair and then the casino had the 50% or 100% promotion or whatever it was. I don't think they changed the software in the mean time so I'm pretty sure it was rigged some other way. So it's just a matter of changing what the server sends the software I suppose.

The guy who owns Playboys is Warren Eugene who started in 1995 with the first Internet casino at casino.org. I don't really know what happened to it. Another one of his websites is at www.bankbankbank.com and he used the same email address at Playboys. Incidentally, he didn't pay many players at that casino even though it was rigged at the end.

INNOCO told me that they set the software to play like Vegas rules, but owners can have custom software made to their own settings. Apparently Playboy is out of business.

Rated Player uses software from INNOCO, as Spear indicated above. Other casinos with the same software include Maverick's Casino(www.maverickscasino.com), Pacific-Vegas Casino (www.pacific-vegas.com), and Virtual Fortuna (www.virtualfortuna.com). Rated Player has the latest ersion.

INNOCO will soon be introducing their Flash and Shockwave games which look ery similar to the games in the download package.

For what it's worth, all online casino games packages are designed to be "tweakable" by the casino managers. It's just a matter of whether someone chooses to do so or not, and if so, how frequently.

I have talked to Warren at Rated Player on a couple of occasions. The software is propriety and they are licensing it's use to other casinos. They seem to be ery aggresive. They are offering 20% bonus through Nov.

When I first recognized that Rated Player had the same software as Playboys, I was extremely cautious, but after reading a lot of positive post about them on another MB, I decided to give them a try. Although I lost while playing BJ, I more then made up for it playing VP and ended up winning on top of the 20% bonus.

I wonder what casinos using the same software as Playboys feel after hearing such bad things about a casino with similiar games. I also wonder what role the software company had in the Playboys games. Did Playboys ask for rigged software or did they compromise code themselves?
At least with the EZCash sites, you know the house has a huge advantage in BJ at all of them. Meaning that the software was made with an unfair advantage .

I haven't had personal experience of Playboys Casino but it was apparantly extremely rigged. I don't know how anyone could trust software that can be so easily rigged.

So although Rated Player may be alright, you can never really trust it.

Does anybody know the company who makes the software at rated player. I played there this weekend as well as at Virtual Fortuna and they both used the same software. The only other time I've seen his software was at Playboys, whose blackjack seems ery unfair. However, the other two did seem to deal fair games.
Rated Players customer service was also ery responsive.
