I remember when I was a dealer I paid a player £5 over (he was messing around with 25p chips on roulette at the time - he normaly played higher). When he brought it to my attention I said that it was my mistake, and that it was now his money (he was a ery good punter so I knew the pitboss wouldn't mind).
The player smiled and placed the £5 chip on #29 - of course, #29 hit
I say you make another $400 deposit and put it all on a single bet. If it loses then they have their money back - but if it wins...

I must say Props to Video Poker Classic! This is a fine example of a casino doing it right. Sure they took their time to send Bernadette her money, but at least they kept in touch throughout.
Then they overpay her by $400, then instead of telling her to send the extra cash back, Roman leaves it up to her. Cudos for doing the right thing VPC!

Obviously you want to pay back the extra money or you would not have contacted the casino. I would certainly not send them a personal check. Find out who handles their payouts (Proc Cyber or some such company) and get a money order (they cost 59 cents) for that amount. Keep the receipt for the money order.
I would send the money order back by FedEx or some such service (if you want, deduct the cost of the Fedex and the money order from the amount you return). Or, in the alternative, send the money order by snail mail with a clear return address. You can check on the money order to see if it has been cashed in a couple of months. If not, ask for a refund.
If you don't want to do "the right thing," then don't do anything. They will probably forget in a few days and since they don't even know who issued your check, how will they know when they get it back? *did they credit back the $400 on your credit card? Sometimes they don't do that so your check for $1000 might be correct.
*Wait for Roman to get back to you. Just don't spend the extra $300. It's ridiculous to expect you to send a check back.

Okay, courier arrived today with check. Check was suppose to be for 600 dollars but was made out for 1,000 dollars. I didn't know what to do and being an honest person called them. Of course got someone who knew nothing about it and wanted to start from scratch. I asked about Roman who I have been dealing with. He said he would relay the message to Roman and they would get back to me. I also emailed "Roman" and asked what to do. I wanted to deposit the check before 2 o'clock so it could post. Waited and said the heck with it and made the deposit. Well, I just received this email...
Dear Bernadette
Thank you ery much for your honesty.Go ahead and cash the check for $1000 take $600 plus an extra $100 for yourself.
Then if you could write out and send a check for the additional $300 and make it out to the same name that your check was issued.

Not to make excuses for anyone, but I live in the US and I always imagine that every other country's mail service is as efficient as ours, of course it isn't.
Once I was being cheap and cashed out and used the free mail option rather than pony up $35 for fed ex. The casino manager wrote me and told me it could take forever. He did me a favor by putting my check in his reports that were mailed bi-weekly to the states and it was mailed to me then.
I always request fed ex and pay the charge. I also appreciate those casinos that allow one free cash out a month.

wow, received an answer already...can't be but a half hour...here is what they wrote....
I have just spoken to management, we are in the process of cancelling your check, so if you get one in the mail, please do not cash it.
We will now be writing you up a new check, and sending it ia courier... I am currently waiting for word back from our accounting department, and I will be in touch with you shortly.

Okay, today is Tuesday and mail has come and no check. Just emailed them informing them of no check which was suppose to have been mailed over 2 weeks ago. Now let's see how long it takes them to answer. If no answer today, I will send them multiple emails again. By the way, how fast is mail by courier? They said they would use that if need.

I did here back and I can see that you did to. I didn't get the same answer so I will take that to be a positive. I was just told that mine would be looked into. An update on this matter...
I have been informed that we have sent the check over 2 weeks ago...and this is what management has requested that we do...
If by early next week, you STILL do not have the check, then what we are going to do, is put a stop payment on that check, and re-issue you another one... In such a case, we will send the check ia courier to make sure you get it right away.

I am also waiting on a check for winnings. I have however been paid like clockwork every week for my affiliate account with them.
I am going to give them a call and if I have anything to report back I will. I hope things work out because I really like playing here.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Bernadette, but if you'll use the "search" feature here and look up old threads about Video Poker Palace you'll see that they have a history of being too busy/backlogged/on holiday/accountant abducted by aliens excuses.
Note:Video Poker Palace is the name before they changed and rose from the grave as Video Poker Classic.

This group say they changed management last year. This happened after another 20% promotion with no limits (a bit like C3i but this time I don't think they paid everyone). They moved to a different location and changed the names of their casinos.

In my experience, although they always paid me, they NEVER answered E-mail.
I lost all my trust in these people and they were the first off my list.
I believe that you will eventually get paid, but continue to E-mail and call them.

Hi again....how long is long enough to wait for check by mail? Cashed out for 600 dollars about April 5th, received email saying check was in the mail on April 9th. I've emailed them every day for the past week. Received an email from them after the first inquiry, they asked when I had cashed out and they would look into it. Since then, they do not acknowledge my emails at all. Am I being too impatient here? They could at least anwswer their emails, don't you think? Thanks...
