I forgot to reply to this after the we (the OPA) forum left and I know that it's two months after the fact... But I should still mention that the check that was re-deposited went through fine. Looks like the problem was not with EFS or Pyramid afterall.

Sometimes the bounced check problem does occur, it happens about 1-2 times every 1,500 checks we send out. The problem is not because of insufficient funds, at leaset not with our casino, but because EFS is an offshore bank, a)Most American Banks treat offshore bank with a diffrent and more strict policy. b)sometimes we have to cancel checks that got lost in the mail, and some banks they treat the checks which have serial numbers that follow the cancelled check as invalid or insufficient funds.
Sometimes the problem get solved by redeposit the check, sometimes we have to issue new ones.
Don't ask me why this happens, even myself never really understood why banks do the things they do.

If what Steve is saying is true,
then SHAME ON EFS for sending out a bad check.
This is too bad, as I was about to make a major deposit at The Casino Company.

Ok, I must admit Craig has a point here. I do wish I would have waited to post the info on what casino that was involved, and should have posted only EFS (yes Prosperity, EFS check) since it was indeed an EFS check. I never was really out to discredit the casino, though it may look that way especially after reading back my post from last night. Guess I was a bit p*ssed since I felt he called me a liar. "it could not have bounced"
I also pointed out in my earlier posts that Craig and Pyramid were ery cooperative, "So all is good. For the record, Pyramid and Craig looked into the problem ery quickly and it looks like it's resolved. Great CS over there. (OPA recommended)." And nothing as of yet has changed my mind about that.
The purpose of my original posts were to get some info on whether this was a common occurrance or not, and to find out what to do next since this was my first ever returned check, not just from a casino, but my first bounce EVER. So Craig, I'm willing... | | Read Entire Entry |

Steve, Was this a Starnet check or a check directly from Pyramid Casino?

One other point,
Steve, I think that you posted this problem way to early in the game, even before we attempted to solve the problem. Next time you want to wait a little while and if we were not co-operating with you then I would understand why you would post, BUT this was not the case.

Guess what, I can not guarantee 100% for Starnet, but I know for a fact I personally will make sure that Steve receives his check for $50.00. I will give him a personal check if I have to.

It could not have bounced, eh??? Well, tell ya what...I will put up 100 bucks and you put up 500 in casino credits we can make a little wager to see if I can produce your check marked 'insufficient funds' but who knows if I would ever get paid, so scrap that idea!!!
If you had read earlier in this thread, last Friday I had already redeposited the check so I cannot fax it to you tomorrow. From what I've been told by you and the bank, I can redeposit up to one time before it's rejected for good.
Hmmm, I suppose I could go down to the bank and get a copy of it... That's what I will have to do, since something tells me you will deny that it ever bounced unless I do this. If you want I can send a copy to you as well as someone at the OPA to confirm it.
Also Craig, didn't you tell me over the phone you had two batches of bad checks go out last month??? Maybe I'm a bit foggy, being the day after St. Pats day and all, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Apparently you may be a bit foggy though, in our las... | | Read Entire Entry |

Hitmob,Steve,
To answer your question finally, it could not have bounced. Until Steve shows me the check, I really do not have the answer. Steve said he will fax it to me tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted. The only thing bouncing around here is the basketball during March madness, so try our sportsbook. HAHAHA!!!!

You certainly nailed it on that one Prosperity. Take a look at starnetnews.com Granted, they don't have a spotless record and their product is far from suitable, but they are no where near as bad as he makes them out to be.

Scott,
Claude Levy is out to get everyone, Starnet Crypto etc. I am not saying that Starnet is an Angel, because trust me, I have a lot of problems with them being one of their licensees. But one thing for sure, they are always paying their players

I always thought that GamblingMagazine was out for Starnet because of some history between them and the operator of the website. Maybe what he says is true but I'm skeptical.

Of course you can redeposit your $50 cheque. As far as gamblingmagazine.com's article, if I am not mistaken these are old auditors of theirs.

As it turns out Craig and Pyramid Casino had my check denied because of some comments I make about a 'Stupidity Medal' on this board. HAHAHAHA. Just kiddin' . Craig from Pyramid assures me I can redeposit the check/or they will send me another one if this does not go through. So all is good. For the record, Pyramid and Craig looked into the problem ery quickly and it looks like it's resolved. Great CS over there. (OPA recommended). 'nuff ass kissin now. Let me say I apologize to the casino and bank in my previous post, as the problem is with EFS Caribbean (Pyramid)and NOT the previously mentioned bank. My credit union assumed the bounce was my last check deposited instead of looking into the facts. The bank originally named was immediate and proficient as to my problem and deserve much praise. Now, on to the original prob....

I have only had minor problems with web dollar, and none in over a year. Ironicly, the problems I did have with them wasn't the result of any of their casinos, but was actually through the casino.com affiliate program (which was cancelled many months ago). Basically my payments were not coming as scheduled for two consecutive requests, but once I brought it to their attention it was taken care of immediately and the were ery sincere in their efforts to make sure I was happy. These were ery minor occurances, unlike my bounced check scenario with Riverbelle and PCS.

Just had a check from (DELETED)bounce on me. Hopefully this problem and the Challenge Casino problems (alleged) is only a coincidence. In any case, have any of you had a problem with (DELETED) checks before? This is my first from (DELETED). All my bank tells me is that the funds from (DELETED) weren't there. Getting ahold of (DELETED) soon. Peace.
