I saw the complaint one guy had with Extreme on another board. After reading through all the posts I believe it was a genuine misunderstanding on that guy's part.
I personally have not had a problem with Extreme. They commented to me earlier this week that they WERE getting the phone lines installed.
I will wait until they DO have a phone number before I place a wager there again, however.

I personally will not wager at a sight that does not have 24 hour phone support. On the OPA list or not. The online casino industry is 100% unregulated. The OPA just like the IGC and all the others in the past. It is not an online casino governing body. It's a guy with a site that posts casino grievences and will also advertise casinos if you pay him. Let's not make it something it is not. This site has no regulatory internet gaming authority what so ever, no one does. It's an individual with a site that picks an chooses who he wants to put on his internet site. Give me half a day and I can have myself an official sounding casino watch dog site up as well. Like this one and all the others past and precent it would be official in name only.

Extreme is a mess. Mary, people are bitching about this place for a reason, not because they have nothing better to do. I've seen complaints about this place on many boards.
Yet it seems the OPA is doing nothing except getting mad at the people complaining.
I say stop trying to kill the messengers, and focus on the real problem--Casino Extreme.
Simply put: Extreme has a problem and the OPA needs to address it; otherwise, Extreme may end up in the Former OPA Approved Casinos Hall of Shame with Tropika and Pinnace.

Mary, You are right. I am going to do that from now on. It is just a bit frustrating when someone owes you money and you can't call them and they do not reply to emails on a timely basis. I understand if they need to save money on the phone but they should try to at least respond faster to emails since they don't have a phone. And some advice for some of you casino owners that can't afford a phone line yet, use cheap chat software on your website. All I want is to inquire about my account and I do not mind doing it through chat software or even a messenger. Windows casino provides support through messenger and I have found it to be ery acceptable. I know some ... | | Read Entire Entry |

Casino Extreme was accepted on a probation basis and the promise of getting phone support.
It would help in OPA negotiations with some of the "casinos in need of encouragement" if members file official OPA complaints when casinos don't respond to emails or lie about payments. This gives every incident/player a tracking number and provides consistency and that all-important "professionalism" that is so popular.

Wilhelm, you have a ery good point.
I just checked the support section of
Casino Extreme.
No toll free #.
No long distance #.
NOTHING.
This rings alarm bells with me.
Especially since thier email servers were down a considerable length of time.
However, Steve is usually ery careful before accepting a casino into the OPA, and I trust his judgement.

If only they would get a phone number. It does NOT have to be a 800 number. I don't mind calling long distance. This so called OPA-Approved casino is a total f*** up at best and a total scam at worst.
1-My so called "OVERNIGHT EXPRESS" withdrawal has not arrived.
2-I have NOT been provided with a tracking number despite asking for it.
3-They do not have a phone number.
4-They do not answer emails.
Mr. Adkins, would you please ask casino extreme to provide a phone number for OPA members. I am not asking for an expensive toll free number. I am asking for a regular non toll free number anywhere in the world.
Thank You
W

Personally I never understood why there were so many complaints about the fax back forms and proving your identity to get paid. It all seems reasonable to me.
I have scanned all the credit cards and ID's required by arious casinos to a file in MS Publisher. When I am asked for any information I just do a "save as" for the new file and delete all the pages not required for the new request. It takes less than a minute to prepare the new information. It can then be faxed right from the computer, no fax machine required. Most casinos cannot open the files if I attach them to email unless I convert all the images to .mpg files. If they have a toll free fax number that is not necessary.

Pygmy,
I have no problem with the fax back form. Most RTG casinos require that and they always send the withdrawal as soon as they get it. And all of them accept scans. I know that since I don't have a fax machine either.

thanks for the info guys...i feel a lot better now.
btw, is it ok to sign the form and scan it in before emailing it back to them? i don't have easy access to a fax machine (especially to call overseas) to send it to them. Or can I just type my name on that line and they will take that as a signature?

I have followed that procedure with a number Of Proc-Cyber casinos with no problems at all.
Playing devil's advocate here. Remember, as a merchant, they have processed cash advances from your credit card without any signatures. They are simply asking for an identification check as any B & M business might and/or has the right to do if you purchased with a credit card there.
If you trust the casino enough to gamble there with your money, I don't see what the problem is in trusting them with your ID. They already have enough info to screw you over if they'd wanted to.
Yes, it's inconvenient. I once had to sign 7 PAGES worth of charges individually. (You'd think that once per page would be enough) However, the Zpayout was $18,000 so I didn't mind doing handwriting "homework".

I have received 2 large cash outs from Extreme, one of which came in late last week and was paid in a timely fashion. I requested a smaller withdraw last Sunday and it was approved on Monday. You can't ask for more than that. Some RTG casinos routinly take 2 weeks to approved a withdraw before sending your original deposit back. I expect Extremes lastes transaction to hit my account tonight or tomorrow.

Dave, thanks for your kind words. yeah banner free and you see how long he lasted!
It takes a great deal of money to run the OPA. Phone bills alone are over $1200 per month.
We only accept advertising from OPA recommended casinos. If they do not live up to what we expect. We will wach the advertising.
This also is a draw to get good casinos to join the OPA. Up until the last week or so we were slow in getting new casino members.
Remember it is free to the listeners because someone else is footing the bill.

Same here with me. They are refunding my credit card but are trying to stiff me for my profits. RTG is another software system where the licensees get to handle players' money therefore opening the door for mischief but I have never been stiffed by a RTG casino and I hope CasinoExtreme is just delaying and not stiffing me.

I cannot say enough good things about Steve Adkins and the OPA. The OPA is the only true consumer watchdog group in this entire industry.
However, I think Steve should seriously consider eliminating all PAID casino advertising from Casinogazette.
A while back Hitmob made Casinogaztte banner free, and had no PAID commercials on his radio show.
I realize the OPA needs $$$, but wouldn't it be a better idea to go on a major campaign to recruit new players?

I was listening to Steve's show tongiht. Great great show about Tropika. I was amazed to hear that they used to be OPA approved. OPA approval means they have been honest in the past. It is no guarantee that they won't screw everybody over tomorrow

This place had become one of my favorites in the last few months. I have played here 4 times and done well everytime. I have been paid everytime also.
HOWEVER, I tryed logging in Sunday night and I keep getting incorrect login. I sent an email on Sunday and have not received a response. There definitely could be something wrong here, maybe someone should ask Steve Adkins to try to contact them about lack of responses by their CS. I believe they are OPA approved, there service is not OPA quality right now.
I won there a few weeks ago and got paid reasonably quickly. I hope this is only a temporary problem they are having.

I realize that Casino Extreme WAS a real respectable casino. But the past is the past. Fairplay Casino was ONCE respectable too. I need to talk to people who have WON money at casino extreme in the PAST 5 DAYS. This is a VERY RECENT problem. I am well aware that in the PAST they used to pay. Has anyone had problems withdrawing profits from Casino Extreme in the past 5 days? They have approved the credit card portion of my withdrawal but they are trying to stiff me over the profits. They are not properly answering my emails. This casino could be on the brink of going belly up. And they are trying to stiff me before they go.
