To Gambling Online Magazine:
Agree with your statements about Claude. From his sites, I get the impression he is seriously f*cking whackado.
Re: your magazine. Although there is a lot of fluff bullsh*t in your mag; it does have quite a bit of worthwhile content. I believe a comparison to Casino Player is in order (although, they are obviously beholden to their advertisers, but what magazine isn’t?).
However, I suspect that your over-the-top, Tits & Ass motif probably offends most women readers, and many male readers probably find it sophomoric. If I want to see T&A, I’ll just pick up a “dirty magazine”.
But this is just my opinion. Good luck with your enture. I truly hope it does well, and if you focus on quality gambling information, and stay away from shilling for obvious sh*tty sites, you should do OK.

You're right Dirk. I should read my posts and check the spelling as well before posting.
I have just never bothered. The guy from GOM summed up my point exactly though. With correct punctuation, spelling and everything.

I have had a personal experience with Claude Levy and can tell you that he is one of the most corrupt individuals in this industry.
When I first started publishing Gambling Online Magazine (Not to be confused with www.gamblingmagazine.com), Claude contacted me and threated to sue me, kick my a@@, and call me every name in the book. He suggested that GOM was trying to rip off his sites name and use it to sell magazines. He then went on to state that GOM would only succeed because readers would identify it as his sites publication.
I asked him if he was serious and also told him that he was guilty of everthing he accused me of. After all most people know that he will purchase a similiar url and try to pass it of as the original.
Claude is a piece of work and should be looked at for what he is, a engeful person who stands for everthing that is wrong in this industry.
Some players may not like Starnet (World Gaming), but to agree with Claude's Black List is just irrespo... | | Read Entire Entry |

Jetset if you have that kind of time to waste go right ahead. Color me stupid but i'm a stickler for facts. I don't read the Inquirer, watch wrestling or go to non informative sites just for the hell of it. If you think that blacklist is accurate thats fine but it is obvious to most that it's not. Heres the equivalant Black list Jetset Casino no reason no explanation I just say so. Why don't you guys back that. I have posted as much factual back ground info as Claude does on it. Come on it doesn't have to be true or accurate. It's just kind of cute and funny to do in an National Inquiry kind of way isn't.

Thanks for that typically abrasive posting, grantt. Please read the following quote from Mary's post again S L O W L Y:
"I think of his site as the "National Enquirer" of our industry--an entertaining read, no fear aobut calling bad guys bad guys, and sometimes good guys bad guys. If you really want to see what can happen when a business relationship goes sour and somebody has Internet access, check out www.starnetsucks.com
The thing is, among the rants are some nuggets of good information."
I agree with her, and there are many other people in the business who isit Levy's site while checking industry issues out and correlate the information/rants/allegations there against other sources. It is not uncommon to find the occasional fire amongst all the smoke there.

Claude is exactly that a claud. He is a disgrunteled ex Starnet site owner and is now like a discruntaled postal worker. Go to gambling.com if you want to see a real blacklist. There they explain each casino grievance and how it was resolved and you can decide for yourself. Claude on the other hand just lists every Starnet site he knows and calls them trash. Mary agrees with him because she is not a Starnet fan as well, which is fine but to call them all crooks is just plain irresponsible. As you can read on here most Starnet sites pay. In fact I have seen a lot more other sites getting bad posts on the besides Starnet. Claudes sites is a flaky little site no substance. You can read about him on other forums in a few posts. I must admit Mary is the first person in all my years that I have come across that actully remotley agrees with Claude. That's the beauty of forums they don't discriminate it's the whole can of nuts. Mary how about just taking the letter A casinos on this site and telling us whats wr... | | Read Entire Entry |

Claude, Claude, you're failing me!
OK, it used to be a good list before he got angry at Boss Media. He used to have the best list for Handa Lopez sites.
No, I don't agree that Boss Media is crooked.

Wow! How did the list get so long without including Golden Palace?
Also, is it possible to get off one of these lists? Some are crooked, some are basically out of business due to poor management, and others are having trouble that may or may not be permanent. What would be most useful to me would be a blacklist by broad categories.
Right now I am having a dialogue with an OPA approved casino that has banking problems. They are answering my emails and adding $10-$15 apology bonuses, but I will not deposit there again until the problems going back to May 31 get fixed. I don't think they are dishonest, but duplicate charges and declined deposits that are actually charged to my Visa cannot be tolerated.

When I saw the word "blacklist," I thought I would write down the list and keep it handy. This list is too big for that. Being the lazy sort that I am I copied the list into Word.
I am a big believer in these lists. I think there should be a common posting site that maintains blacklisted organizations of all sorts (yes, I know there are complaint sites out there, but I mean an easy-to-get-on and not-so-easy-to-get-off site.) Companies of all sorts that won't act in a respectable manner... who won't treat patrons with a little dignity, need to be advertised too. I won't isit any of the "blacklist" casinos. I haven't wagered a bet yet, but I will in the ery near future, thanks mostly to the good advice from this board. The blacklist casino's?.. They should do what ever they have to do to get off it, and we need to continue to spread that list around. Company Beware?.. You Bet!

I had a nice long response, but why bother. Suffice to say that anyone reading anything Claude has to say, should do so with a large grain of salt.
The bottom line is that there are a number of quality sites on the list above (All Star Sportsbook, Sportfanatik). Sites I've played, and believe me, they would put most of the current "popular" sites to shame.

Let's see--he probably added Intercasino because he considers Intercasino to be owned by Crypto, and Crypto doesn't tell their shareholders that. He doesn't have Sands of the Caribbean on his list, which is the next oldest Crypto site to be opened.
The next large and debatable category is the Starnet sites. I personally avoid Starnet sites because of all the bruhaha with the RCMP and the US authorities investigating them, seizing their servers, etc. in the past. They have moved their operations and renamed their company, but, I still consider them to not be ery selective to whom they sell their software. Their software is also sold by third parties in turnkey packages.
Starnet is an interesting case, because considering the number of Starnet sites out there, there are ery few complaints received about them by the OPA and on message boards. It is not true that there are *no* complaints.
There are players on this board who have had good experiences playing Starnet (grantt, for e... | | Read Entire Entry |

Unfortunately, this list contains a number of Starnet sites.
While Claude may have a bone to pick with Starnet the software provider, I hardly think it is fair to blacklist a particular casino just because it uses Starnet software.
I've played a number of Starnet sites, and have never had a problem being paid.
If you check gambling grumbles or the OPA complaints section, it's easy to see that few complaints concern Starnet.
While I think Claude has some alid complaints, it is hard for me to take him or gamblingmagazine.com seriously.

The Original Mary. It's obvious you don't know who Claude is. To claim his list is in any way a reflection of a good or bad casino is obsurd.

I think it shows that if you're a newbie, and you don't do your homework through message boards like this and honest portals the odds are quite "good" that you will fall in with one of these many illains.

I confess a secret fondness for gamblingmagazine.com
This is Claude Levy's blacklist, and it actually does consist of mostly bad casinos--Handa Lopez, gamblingsoftware.com, and dodgy sites. Just thought it wouldprove educational for some of our new readers to see how long a list can get, once you start collecting them.
