...
1. Earn FPPs for cash game play
One (1) Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches:
* $0.50 for fixed limit poker games with stakes $0.50/$1.00 and lower
* $0.75 for fixed limit poker games with stakes $1/$2
* $1.00 for
o pot limit poker games
o no limit poker games
o fixed limit poker games with stakes $2/$4 and higher
2. Earn FPPs for tournament play
Five (5) FPPs are awarded for each $1 in tournament fees paid.
http://www.pokerstars.com/fpp.html
Rake is 5% so $10 pot is correct for .5/1

I signed up for it just for sitandgos. $1+10c sitandgo gets 1 FPP. A $5+50c pays 3 FPPs.

Their homepage is a maze...
it says:
One (1) Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches:
$0.50 for fixed limit poker games with stakes $0.50/$1.00 and lower
--
But on their "rake page" they state that its only .25cent up to a 20usd pot.
Someone that knows?
Can you clear it easy on .5/1 fl?
Thanks!

At first the software would not let her because my account is already on it, so she e-mailed support. I'm afraid future 2xFPP days won't count double against the bonus, since they have these "base FPP" now.
So is it pointless now to stack then??
Why wouldn't you stack them if you can spare the cash for 2 days is the question you need to ask yourself.
Maybe he meant that it's pointless to stack the bonus and wait for a 2xFPP day, can as well clear it right away.
Hmm, I thought the initial question had more to do with the other poster's suggestion that double FPP periods wouldn't count towards clearing the bonus. I don't see why that would be the case as they would still be "base" points rather than "bonus" points earned according to VIP status. The website states:

Yeah - you right. I read it the other way.
Re-post...
If you have the $s spare for the next day or two, then stack it. It's up to you whether you wait to see if they have another double-point spree. Play it now if you are ready to go. But no harm in stacking if you ain't.

I have. I have always cleared almost all of the Stars bonuses at 1/2 Stud high. It seems to go by fairly fast there. Sometimes their stud tables get tightened up, but if you stay around and wait you can usually find a pretty decent table. Like was mentioned before, the extra round of betting means that Stud pots are always just naturally higher than hold em pots at the same level which works out good with the Stars bonus clearing system.
I believe one of the best ways to clear Stars is to play 2 way Hi-Low games like Omaha Hi/Lo or 7 Stud Hi/Lo. With the Hi and Low splits you can get two people raising with the nuts and they naturally help build the bigger pots that are needed to earn FPP.

I was 4 tabling 50NL for at least 10 hours already and only collected around 350 FPP points.
I guess it depends wat limits you play at. The clearance rate look a lot better at 2/4 and above.
When there is a Reload Bonus, you will need to accumulate 5 FPP's for each $1 in bonus money. An FPP is earned in the following way.
One (1) Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing in each raked game when the rake reaches:
* $0.50 for fixed limit games with stakes $0.50/$1.00 and lower
* $0.75 for fixed limit games with stakes $1/$2
* $1.00 for pot limit games, no limit games, and fixed limit games with stakes $2/$4 and higher

The "worst" thing that can happen is that they call to check that you wife existes. If she does, which I sincerely hope she does, you will have no problems. Jast make sure that your wife doesn't register her account right before you are going to play that big ass tournament, becaus they COULD chose to lock both accounts untill they have verified your and your wife's identities. | | Static Link |
