If we accept that a relatively small percentage of the online gambling public reads MBs I wonder how many other players were "shorted" by this casino in the wake of the Mad Hatter promo of the year?

Bloody hell - that must be an all time record in bonuses! I'll bet whoever put the bonus rules together at GW had his or her ass kicked!

Whoever originally started this thread misread the OPA complaint.

The guy deposited $100, received $47,000 in BONUSES, and had a $75,000 net profit off his only ($100) deposit.

Galaxiworld (Actually G-Cash) offered him something like $15 (FIFTEEN DOLLARS) which was what he won on his initial deposit before he started recycling his bonuses.

He'd have kissed their naked arses on live TV if they gave him $47,000.

The cheque for $1000 arrived today from Galaxiworld. It was dated 18th July.

The blackjack was quite fair and I was playing $50 hands mostly as the software was slow and I had a lot to wager. I was planning to lower my bet size if I ended up losing the bonus (which was $1125 on $4500 total deposits). It was the day of the Global-Player Tournament so I was quite relaxed going into it knowing I'd just made $1000.

A good thing about this casino is that they are like Cryptologic in the way they refund credit cards automatically as soon as you withdraw. It isn't always done automatically (such as during the promotion) but usually it is. If it shows up as a cheque instead of a card refund, you can just reverse the pending 'cheque' and withdraw again. In normal circumstances this would refund your card immediately.

The bank fraud is a strange one. Shouldn't the bank check things out better? The bank may have assessed a casino as irtually no risk and would have made good interest. The...

I got an email today saying my fax form was approved. The cheque withdrawel has also reappeared in my account history today. I'd sent the fax form nearly two weeks ago but they took a while to approve it.

Actually, the deposit and bonus had to be wagered about twice to withdraw everything. It was a 25% bonus on all deposits. The problem is that you didn't have to make a real deposit because the software reversed previous cashouts and still gave you a bonus. So the person who deposited $100 got a $25 bonus and then withdrew and when he deposited what he withdrew (which just reversed the withdrawel) he got another 25% bonus and this continued. It adds up because if someone redeposits 30 times then it becomes over 800 times the original amount deposited (1.25 to the power of 30 is more than 807).

I played galaxiworld but didn't redeposit. The bonuses I got were from actual deposits taken from my card. They've still 'held' my cheque though and it's disappeared from my account history.

The story emerging so far is really, really strange.

OK, bear with me here.

First, let's talk about Galaxiworld. In the world of online gambling, the public has a short memory. Galaxiworld was a publically traded company run by Jack Banks and Larry Weltman. Jack and Larry borrowed a lot of money, $32 million by telling the bank that their company, GLC, had a license to sell gambling supplies in Washington State.

Except it didn't. They also issued more stock certificates than they had shares, and somebody used those for collateral to defraud another bank.

Anyhow, last October they appeared in court in New York and got the slap on the wrist of being banned from entering the US for two years. The securities case about the stock will be in August. A group nobody has ever heard of took Galxiworld private for much less thant he shareholders paid for it, and Esther Banks, Jack's daughter runs the promotional side of it. She also has an advertising agency in Toronto.

HOLY COW!!! would someone please look at this and try to explain it to me. It looks like this guy received a $100 bonus (i remember them having a $100 match back in april) and it looks like he won something like $120,000. Looks like they have payed him $47,000 but not the rest. Geez what did he hit?
The wording of the complaint is ery confusing and im not sure i even understand what the problem is. Can someone enlighten me?
I assume this is what started the warning on that casino group.
Any info appreciated.
