VERY nice pull, Sirius!!!
I was wondering if Power Poker would ever do anything like that. Nice to *see* it!
Some other Power Poker casinos;
Golden Tiger
Blackjack Ballroom
Riverbelle
Lucky Nugget
The Gaming Club
Captain Cook's
They're all slowly adding it....

I have the latest ersion from the website (Version 6.0.5, I don't think it's that new because it is copyyright 1997-2000) and it supports multihand games, up to 10 play!! It has triple, quadruple, 5 play and 10 play.

I have most of the ideo poker programs and agree with Sirius that Winpoker is by far the best. You can even do simulations using the auto-play mode, although it is not ideal since you have to manually note each test run. It doesn't support multi-hand games although the strategy is, of course, the same.
Since we're reporting success I got my first online (and second ever VP) Royal last week on the multi-hand game at Wild Jacks. I had to throw away a made $30 on a flush. For my single card draw with 4 hands I was better than 8%, or better than 1 in 12 to hit a Royal. I had a second one card draw but missed.
I put back quite a bit yesterday. Because of the hand correlation you end up playing at a higher level with higher bankroll requirements and its a losing game anyway without bonuses. Still you can't make $1000 on a $5 bet at Blackjack.

Thanks, I didn't realise straight away that I got the second straight flush because I was still recovering from the first.
I got to $235 and then got a 4 oak within a couple of hands. I was trying to get to $300 but I never quite got there and cashed in $200 in the end which was $100 profit. I don't play too often because my ideo poker strategy isn't perfect.
I've been practising since with Bob Dancer's WinPoker from http://www.zamzone.com which shows you how to play properly. It's worth the $29.95 I paid for it.

Sirius! Congrats! It feels so good to win something like that doesn't it?
And congrats also to zrapture on the Royal. You are right about how hard it is to get a SF, seems to come along as rarely as a RF to me! Since we are talking winning here, I got a RF at Sci-fi on the 18th. They have FPDW there! I won on the JP.

Thanks, zrapture!! And I definitely agree that straight flushes should pay more -- they seem just as rare as royals to me. But maybe Sirius will disgree now that he got doubles. :>)

most Microgaming casinos have it now. You might need to redownload some of them. It is ery addictive.
Here are a few I've done well at:
casinofortune (got my only royal ever here this week)
Wildjacks
CasinoGrandBay
VegasVilla

It was my first straight flush and it came twice. I think it's around 1 in 9000 chance of a straight flush.
Oh yeah, croupier, I just realised I forgot to count the two cards I discarded in the calculations. So there were only 47 not 49 cards to choose from. Actually I'm not sure if the other three hands take out the discarded cards but they probably do.

Great work Sirius - it's so nice to see screen captures like that one
BTW: with 47 cards remaining there are 1081 combination, 3 of which get you a SF - that gives you a 1 in 360.333 chance to nail the SF. I'm too tired to work out the rest of the calculations
I've not been playing VP too long, but I have had 2 SF's and 3 royals!

awesome, great job sirius
I really wish straight flushes were worth more. They are so friggin rare and you only win about $60 from them. playing quarters.

I was playing power poker. I haven't played too much Video Poker and never had a Royal.
I think the odds were 1 in 392 of a straight flush from holding those three cards (49x48/2 divided by the three possible ways I could have had a straight flush).
To get at least 2 out of 4, the odds are 1 in 25698 (binomial)
