I'm with Trader on this - every time there is a serious world crisis (remember all the predictions of the Apocalypse attributed to old Nostro at the time of the Gulf War?)all sorts of folk dust off the quatrains, often "editing" them slightly in the process to better reflect the current circumstances.
I suspect people have been doing that ever since his writings became famous.
Nostramdamus is IMO absolutely fascinating but his works are so ambiguously worded that they can be interpreted in many ways to suit just about any event.

Nostradamus predicted everything that has ever happened since his death if you are willing to to twist his words to your own interpretation after the fact.
Would somebody ask him if I will win my next hand of Blackjack at Blackjack Ballroom? I want to know if I should bet $2 or $2000. I would have asked for the numbers to Powerball but that would be too hard for someone his age.

Ever hear of Nostradomus, the great predictor? I think he was from the 1400's. He predicted WW I and WWII as well as many other things. This site posted a paragraph on their front page, about the Twin Towers that collapsed, written by Nostradomus. Check it out! http://www.CeasarsOnlineGaming.com
