Vahe Baloulian , casino manager of Casino-
On-Net, states above that "We always give
our members the benefit of a doubt."

Anyone who wishes to iew the color-coordinate "Shaken, Not Stirred" promotion
for September 26 ,2001 can clearly see
that all the terms and conditions for
the promotions displayed are stated
for each promotion WITH THE EXCEPTION
OF ONE PROMOTION. NOWHERE DOES IT SAY
THAT A SAME DAY DEPOSIT MUST BE MADE
FOR THE "SHAKEN , NOT STIRRED" promotion.

According to a private e-mail from
management to yours truly, this web site
promotion is simply a "calendar of events."

Since the promotion can no longer be
viewed at the site , I took the liberty
of downloading the promotion last week.

Anyone who wishes to iew this promotion
can send me an e-mail at this address :

factorx@tampabay.rr.com

I will be happy to e-mail you the complete
promotion a...

I absolutely agree with the principles that you have mentioned. We always give our members the benefit of a doubt. Closing a member’s account is not a simple process.

If you think we did not treat you fairly, send me your Casino-on-Net details and I will be happy to look into your history with us. There is no other casino in the world that treats its members better than Casino-on-Net. This is not just a statement; it is our formula for success. If you play by the rules, we honor every promise we make.
Anything can be said on the boards, some of it true, some not. However, the fact is that we approach each and every member individually and treat him or her the way we would like to be treated. I don’t think it is reasonable to expect a casino to change the rules of the games and events simply because one or two of our members didn’t follow the rules. We run these events every month. If you missed one, there is always an opportunity coming up.
For us a winner is not a sinner. Winners are...

Vahe,
I guarantee you that any company that wants to keep their customers for any length of time, gives the customer the benefit of the doubt the FIRST time. Your site takes a position and opposes the customer as its' first option. I don't agree with "The customer is always right" but they surely can't always be wrong. Out yourself in the customer's shoes one time and ask yourself; how would I want to be treated?? There seems to be consensus based on this thread of messages.

To Factor X: From the sum of the bonus that you have mentioned I was able to find your account.
You have been a member of ours for a while and you receive our newsletters. Our newsletter clearly states that a minimum deposit has to be made to qualify for the bonus. It is not “SOMEWHERE IN THE NEWSLETTER”, but right after the description of the events, as you can see in a post by Sirius above.
The website you are referring to simply displays the calendar of events.

The only confusion we have encountered with this event was the size of the minimum deposit. Generally, it is $50. However, since we were introducing PayPal, for a limited time we have allowed $20 deposits as well. After consideration, we have decided to qualify those who deposited less than $50. However, no exceptions are made for those who simply didn’t qualify for the event because they have failed to follow the rules.
Look, we have paid out to hundreds of our members $4,000,000 during 2 hours. It is obvious that our ...

I have only had 2 major disputes with
casinos over the years. This CON dispute
is the second one.

The first dispute involved a Mirage property
located in Biloxi, Mississippi. The blackjack
dealer shortchanged me a substantial
amount of money at the blackjack tables.
The Beau Rivage Casino would not reimburse
me.

I contacted the office of Steve Wynn ,
president of Mirage, and also contacted
the Mississippi Gaming Commission.

The interim casino manager of the Beau
Rivage personally checked the tapes
after the tapes were requested by the
Mississippi Gaming Commission. The tapes
confirmed that I was correct.

The Beau promised to send me the money.
They never did. Eventually, after a lot
more effort, I received the money.

Having once worked for a Ralph Nader
organization, I am ery consumer conscious.

I do not believe that CON , sitting in
Antigua , is as protected as they may
think th...

Sirius :

I have on file the actual promotion
as found at CON 's website. It does
not mention anywhere that a deposit
is required.

I just got off the phone with a
friend of mine. His cousin also
participated in the promotion and
did not see anything about a deposit.
He probable read the promotion at the
website also.

Casino-On-Net refused to deposit the
bonus money in his account also.

rw24, if they paid out 3.5 million dollars in bonuses for the promotion, you can be sure that they lost over 3 million dollars from people taking part.

The promotion made the return around 195% of all money bet on those numbers. There must have been tens of thousands of spins of the roulette wheel for them to pay out the 3.5 million in bonuses and that would make the return near expectation. The total bonus given would be near the amount the casino lost on the promotion.

Does anyone remember if the message of the day in the software said anything about having to deposit? If it wasn't mentioned there either then I think they should still pay the bonus if people didn't deposit on the day.

The terms or conditions for the September
26th CON roulette promo can be found in
two different places.

Location 1 : Website - Nowhere does it
say that a deposit is required for the
Sept. 26 promo.

Location 2 : Casino Site - It states
that a minimum deposit is required .
It does not state the requirement within
the context of the promo . It states it
at the end of the promo.

I was surprised that I had not seen this
statement even out of context.

However, as Sirius pointed out above, the
reason I did not see it is because I
may have read the promo at the website
and not the casino site. The website
promo does not mention anything about
a deposit for this particular event.

Sirius has posted both the website and
the casino site promotions above. One
can easily see that the website promotion
does not mention a deposit . I have this
same promotion "on file".

Casino-On-Net...

Just because they gave out 3.5 million in bonuses does not mean that they lost 3.5 million. They could still have made money as far as I can see it. It just means that they would have paid out an extra 3.5 million on 0 and 7. Who knows how often those numbers came up and how often the other numbers came up.
I am not accusing CON of anything. They seem to be honest. But I do not trust online casinos in general. I believe that odds can be set for individual players. If that were true, the odds could have been set diffently for players who made deposits that day. I would be curious to see how players in general did at that promotion.

This is another occasion to warn everyone to read the details of every promotion before you play. Things do change and it can save you a lot of money to check with support if you are unsure. Some RTG casinos seem to change promotion terms weekly.

CON has only been good to me. On their last 2 to 1 Blackjack promotion they gave me a bonus that I felt was short $18. They never actually answered my email inquiry, but the next day they gave me an additional $25. They would be better if they also had phone support.

Hello,

The event you are all referring to was a great success. We have paid out over $3.5 in bonuses in 2 hours and we are happy about it. We have reached our goal with this event and we plan to repeat it.

There has never been a case of Casino-on-net not paying its members. There will never be one.

Gamblers know Casino-on-Net’s no-nonsense approach. We play by the rules. If you play by the rules, we are going to honor our promise and thank you for choosing our gaming house.

I realize that in some cases the explanations or details are not ery clear. We are working everyday to streamline this process and we appreciate your suggestions and comments.

Although your agreement with us stipulates that you need to keep yourself informed through our website, I agree that it is quite a task. We will try to inform you about most important developments through our newsletters.

I ran into the same proble a couple of months ago when they changed their wagering requirements for their happy hour on their we page. I do not make a habit of reading a casino's web page every time I gamble so I lost a $500 bonus plus $125 in winnings since they closed my account for abusing their promo. They didn't have a problem taking my $250 deposit when I lost straight up 2 weeks earlier. If it costs CON, they won't won't pay to keep their customers happy.

Sirius,
Where did you get this quote?
Quote:

3.5 Million dollars is a huge amount of money to pay in two hours, do you think that CON will be able to sustain this blow?

Was it on their website? have you spoken with that manager ?

Sirius : I think that is where part of
the problem lies.

The site does not mention
a deposit is required for
this event. However, the
newsletter does mention a
a deposit requirement but
does not mention the
specific amount.

Sirius : You mention that the site promo
does not contain the deposit
conditions for the September 26th
promo.

Both the site and the newsletter
do contain the specific deposit
conditions for both the promos
before and after the Sept.26 promo.

However, no SPECIFIC promo
conditions are mentioned within
the context of the promo itself.
I believe they mistakenly left
it out.

If this happened at a land-based
casino in the States, one would
have recourse to both the state
gambling commission and the state
courts.

I was told by CON management that "the
total payouts to the winners of this
promotion will be 3.500.000." The decimal
points , I assume , were meant to be commas.

The Stanley Acropolis 2-1 Blackjack promo
was reputed to have cost them over 2 million.

There was a lot of publicity over the SA
promo. But I have seen few comments and
little commentary over the CON promo. That
is what CON says and I now take what they
have to say with a "grain of salt".

My days of on-line casino gambling are
limited. I have requested all monies
from all my casino accounts .
It has all become ery tiresome.

The truth of the matter is that irtually
all casino gamblers are losers. Some
on-line gamblers CAN make money from
the arious promos but they DO have to
work at it.

A recent communication from CON stated
that when the amount of the required
deposit is not specifically stated then
the consum...

I don't think it mentioned on their website that a deposit is required for the promo though, only in the newsletter. You can see the promo on their site and you could have joined after the newsletter was sent.

Last week a friend of mine told me that
Casino On Net was having a roulette promo
on September 26th. The promo stated that
the numbers 0 and 7 would pay double.
Each number would pay 70-1 instead of
35-1! Great promo !

The promo was only good between the hours
of 4 and 6 PM EST. I played and lost
$100 , not including bonuses. However,
my bonuses amounted to $3990 and were to
be deposited in my account the next day.

When I did not receive them , I e-mailed
CON and they replied that I did not comply
with the "terms". A deposit had to be made
that day in the casino.

I called my friend and together we read
the promo together. It did not say anything
about a deposit. Some time later, after a
second e-mail , I found a general statement
near the bottom of the newsletter that
"members must make a minimum daily deposit
in order to participate."

Casino On Net , for all the other promos
