I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Some of you were not good kids, and Santa did not isit your house, I see.

Originally, this thread was about making money from bonuses, wasn't it?

In general, Gary was correct about the misleading T&C posted by quite a few casinos, both the honest and dishonest ones. Not to mention the merely "hard to understand" T&C's for casinos, like the Colosseum Group.

This point has been discussed here many times, and I would suggest that CasinoRep check back through posts in this forum for at least the past few weeks. You (and Gary) will get an idea of the "flava" of the board, and the posters here. You will also gain some aluable information.

Gary, your skills as a raconteur are appreciated, however, knowledge of gambling is much more aluable here. Misspellings are overlooked, but not required.

Your testosterone level is beyond your control, so we'll just have to take you as you are.

No that post doesn't make me angry and I don't want you to feel like you can not post and speak you mind. That would be a loss for everyone.

I gave you a sincere apology for my end of the misunderstanding.

Apparently though, you have not accepted it which is your choice. Nothing I can do about that.

I should have realized after the second post when you said you were sticking behind the statement that something was amiss.

I'm guessing you probably checked, doubled checked and pretty much have CRYPTO CASINO'S terms memorized by now. I can understand how that could have been frustrating.

So, with that in mind I will extend my apologies again for my imput into the misunderstanding.

CPA--I should have realized immeditately what was going on when I saw the word 'Cryptologic'. I have played their casinos many times.

As I said to Caruso in an earlier post, both he and Martee were able to see both the 'forest and the trees' as opposed to you and me, simply making sure the target was lined up correctly in our gunsights.

Instead of jumping into the 'mix', I should have done some reading of posts and gotten more of a feel for what was being said and the language being used to say it.

I hope you'll be somewhat gentler with the next new guy and more forgiving of the 'inevitable' mistakes he will make. Caruso's post to you about the 'actor' comment made good sense. And, in turn, I shouldn't have taken the bait so readily.

I'll be posting some things on this board from time to time but I think I'm done with personal messages, for awhile at least. I'm going to lick my wounds and heal some.

Caruso--Your post to CPA made good sense.
He boiled me in oil and I reacted..., badly!

This attitude of 'taking the offensive' has worked well in the columns I have written, but it won't work on this board.

The 'tone' of your message to CPA is what works here, as well as the reasonable, common sense approach of Trader, Jetset and
Mrracetrack.

The ability of you and Martee, to stand back and see the trees 'and the forest' is also a special talent, and without it, CPA and I would still be throwing rocks at each other.

This message board business requires a maturity or an ability that, either I don't have or choose not to have, I'm not sure which yet.

I am going to continue to contribute to this board but not through personal messages of this type. Occasionally, I'll post something I have written, and read whatever comments are made. If, for some reason, that isn't acceptable, I'll stop doing that as well.

Martee--You have my heartfelt thanks! Your insight without question, lifted a heavy burden from a back too 'puny' to carry it!

I saw references to Cryptologic in CPA's posts but had no inkling that we were talking about two different animals related only by being common to the same industry.

I must tell you, I was reluctant to turn on the computer today and go to the message board, anticipating a high level of heat inside a locked oven. Well, that's a little overboard, but I was apprehensive.

I assumed others, more familiar with CPA than myself, would come out in support of his stand. Instead, cooler heads than his or mine, prevailed, yours and Caruso's. I appreciate that and, I think CPA does also. I don't pretend to be able to speak for him but that would be my guess.

You would think that Cryptologic somehow would have the word "Crypto" locked down?

I would guess that in the world of search engines, if someone searched for "Crypto Casinos"....They would stand a pretty good chance of winding up at Clock Media then. Would I be right on that?

Now that you mention it, I recall something about a Crypto Casino. Certainly, if this is the case, We are arguing two different Casinos as you say! LOL

If that is the case, I would be the first to extend a heartfelt apology. Needless to say, when someone says Crypto, you associate to Cryptologic. I wonder if they know about this Crypto place. I think I'll go investigate and see if this is what Mr. Zimmer was refering to.

I think garyzimmer and CPA are talking about 2 different casinos. gary is talking about CryptoCasino (cryptocasino.com)....and CPA about Cryptologic casinos (Intercasino ..Sands..WmHill etc).

As CPA pointed out a Cryptologic bonus is instant and the bonus at Crypto Casino is not.

Maybe the people at Crypto Casino are trying to latch onto the good reputation that Cryptologic casino has earned through the good support and software.

CPA - Gary HAS realized his mistake, but is not about to come out and say this directly, since a mild flaming war has erupted - originating, I think, from your comment "get a job as an actor"; why didn't you simply point out where his mistake came from? These bonus terms are EASILY misinterpreted, and Crypto aren't the only ones guilty of this; if I read "you must wager the deposit 12 times before receiving your bonus" (or something along those lines), this reads as "the bonus will not be GRANTED until the deposit has been sufficiently wagered", rather than "the bonus cannot be WITHDRAWN (having been instantly credited) until you've wagered the deposit 12 times."

A simple pointing out of Gary's mistake, without the "actor" comment as catalyst would have saved a HELL of a lot of trouble. It's ery easy to get over-excited and paranoid in this business (been there, done that) over matters which are usually simple misunderstandings. Those in the &qu...

I'll try one more time to get this thru to you.

This issue in question is NOT one that lends itself to an opinion.

This is the problem, Mr Zimmer, You do not have to wager 5Xs the Deposit and bonus to receive the bonus. Period. That is a fact, not a matter of opinion. The bonus is instant and given up front to use.

Just like EVERY bonus on the net, you must to meet the wager thru requirements before cashing it out! Surely you do understand this.

The only other thing that your post could imply, would be that you are under some sort of impression that Bonuses in online gambling are given freely and without cash in requirements. If that is the case, then you definately are not in tune with online Gambling.

I am telling you that you are incorrect in your continuous statement that the bonus at Cryptologic Casinos are not given until after the wager thru is met.

Woody--

However, the wording of their terms and conditions is ambiguous. This leads to disputes and questions of integrity on both sides.

Either they have no one capable of making the terms and conditions easily understood or, for some reason known only to them, they don't want them understood.

If we as players don't get upset when a casino's obvious intent is obfuscation, then we deserve the 'abuse' they hand out. If you haven't been a ictim of some of these poorly written 'terms and conditions', just go to gambling.com and click on 'gambling grumbles' and read about some of the bloodletting.

Go to a casino with well written 'terms and conditions' and then go to Crypto Casino and read theirs. If the difference isn't apparent then there is no hope!

Yes - he should do his own dirty work as far as sniffing out good deals go; there should, indeed, be no "free lunch". But I don't think clarification of the T & Cs comes in that category.

Casino rep: A $10 "freebie" is pretty inconsequential. Some are "tokens", ie. never withdrawable, but you can win with them. Others are "real", but may require a few play-throughs if you're the sort of tight-fisted scrounger who'd cash out $10 - although, given minimum withdrawal levels, such a small cashout is usually impossible.

If it says "$75 for $50", that's what it means - no more, no less, unless otherwisew stated.

If it says "100%" then it will be capped, typically between $50 and $100

Alright folks I got 2 questions for ya:

1) Regarding the casinos that offer bonuses without purchases necessary. Literally this means that you just need to download the software and free-play for x amount of times each term requires. Any catches to this?

2) Pertaining to those casinos offering matchup bonuses and deposit bonuses. I know they each have different terms and conditions. However, let's say casino a offer $75 free bonus for the initial $50 deposit. Does this mean if I deposit $100 then I'll receive $150 bonus? And let's say casino B offers a 100% matchup for my $100 deposit. What if I deposit $10,000, or $100,000 for that matter, will I receive 100% of whatever amount I purchase?

Thanks!

That sounds much more 'noble' than I really am, since I am a player and most of what I have written has been to advance my own cause as well.
