I hope you all don't mind me posting updates to this little saga here. After all were not talking about a big chunk of change, but I won it and therefore it is mine, well, in theory it is mine but what is it about possession being 9/10th's of the law?
I followed up with Proc-cyber ia phone and another series of e-mails. My last "discussion" was something to the effect of "you will be pleased to know that your request has been forwarded to our operations department and please allow us 72 hours to research..."
Being that I am still in somewhat of the holiday spirit, I'm going to wait to initiate the next series of calls/emails the middle of next week. I do have an e-mail trail for backup (interesting how so many of them say the same thing.. "your Paypal account was credited on Dec 17th".... NOT!)
It's too bad how a negative experience with a processor can leave a bad taste in your mouth for the casino, which in this case is Riverbelle. And that's t... | | Read Entire Entry |

Hi all! thanks for input; will wait til middle of next week. I do understand that it has to be Proc-cyber. And the more I think about it, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with e-mail addresses in paypal ersus Riverbelle ersus Proc-cyber. (Related to the AT&T/Excite at home fiasco for those of you in the US).
Webdollar to Paypal was within hours (literally!) of being informed payment was made.
I believe Woody0's comments were salient and wanted to add further comment as regards my situation. It's bills first, savings second and gambling if and when all other obligations are met. If I'm not good/ahead in those categories, I "ain't gamblin'"
The way I look at gambling, both at B&M casinos and online, are kind of like loans to my brother; I may or may not see part or all of my money back (guess that makes it a gift, eh?)
I did err in assuming that since Webdollar to Paypal was so fast, assumed it would be this fast from Proc-cyber. Assumption cor... | | Read Entire Entry |

I hope you understand the delay is with Proc-Cyber or RiverBelle and not with PayPal.
One of the RTG casino's payout departments told me on the phone that they were sending my winnings by PayPal and I received the email confirmation from PayPal while I was still on the phone discussing the newest promotion with the manager. PayPal is that fast. The casino is not.

The first rule of gambling is don't play with money you can't afford to lose.
The second rule is don't plan on spending money you haven't yet received.
Only one transaction with Proc-Cyber sending my winnings by PayPal within 3 days. I agree with checking back middle of next week.

Here's the situation: Got a nice little profit (low roller so decent is anything above $100 for me!) from Riverbelle.
Situation: confirmation received on Monday 17th of check being sent and balance refunded to paypal. Check to take approximately 7 business days so not antsy yet (will worry about that later!)
At issue is statement made in e-mail Monday, Dec 17th, confirming payout that a credit to paypal took between 48 to 72 hours. Not in there yesterday (Friday p.m) or today (Sat a.m.)so by my calculations, 72 hrs has "done gone and passed."
Processor is Proc-cyber; sent an e-mail last night saying not in there and asked them to check, did they need anything further from me, yadda-yadda-yadda. No reply this a.m.
The paypal $ was going to be my recreational spending for this weekend so I am kind of bummed. Given that it is the holidays, probably short staffed, etc, would you all show some holiday spirit and cut them some slack? I don't want to be crying wolf... | | Read Entire Entry |
