Caruso, I've had those unlikely results as well. When it's on the plus side I feel ery lucky, or even clever; when on the down side, I'm sure the game is rigged. Human nature , I guess. Still, if Kenyon feels like he just experienced discrete rear entry by a camel, he has the numbers to back him up.

Caruso, the total required action was 1170 DOLLARS, not 1170 hands; the number of hands played, at $4 a hand was around 292, for which 1 SD is +/- 18.8 hands, or about $75. The result, (-72 hands, or -$290) was greater than 3.8 SD out. (I still like your singing)

Oh, bugger, what am I talking about?!? I confused hands for dollars. I beg your pardon. Yes, 3.8 SDs - extraordinary, but not inpossible. Play enough and you'll get there. To date, I've won and lost to the tune of 3.5.

Jerry and Grant are bang on - you are MILES out; SD for 1170 hands = c. 37; he lost 72 bets; less than 2 SDs; horrible, yes, but perfectly reasonable; he'd never have got to 3.8 SDs - he'd have lost the lot long before.

Starting bankroll 390, bet size $4, required action $1170. Jerry, that's about a 1% bet size, yielding an acceptably low risk of ruin for the wagering requirement.
Grant, he needed to bet about 290 hands at $4 a hand; 1 SD is about =/- $75. He lost $200 of his own money, which means he lost $290 altogether, or about 3.8 SD. The liklihood of that happening is less than 1 in 5000.

U2 never know if the casino is cheating or not - I have played Blackjack at a MicroGaming casino, and I lost more 10 games in a row while I never won 3 games in a row. Later I lost all $200 even I bet $1 each game, sometimes $2.
In StarLuck casino or PlanetLuck casino, I never win 2 blackjack games in a row, while I always lose more than 10 games continuously(or even 20 games? I don't remember) As I remember, on average when I won 1 games, I should lose at least 10 games.
In RTG casino, sure I have the experience of losing 5 blackjack games or even more in a row, but I can also win that many games in a row.

Buying in with $300 and doing $900 worth of wagering and being down $200. That's an absolutley normal outcome. Have you never been to a casino and left down money before this.

It is always a shame to hear about people losing money, but you are probably just as likely to have lost anywhere else as well. You didn't note what game you were playing, but since you mentioned $4 per hand I am assuming it was blackjack. A 30% bonus on $300 would have given you a total starting bankroll of $390, which I do not believe is sufficient for playing $4 per hand. It's enough to give you a decent amount of play, but not really enough to overcome any swings in play. With that size of a bankroll I think I would prefer to go to a Boss Media site and play at the minimum of $1 per hand, or perhaps to a Crypto or MicroG site with a $2 minimum.

I received 30% bonus on $300 with a 3x play through. Didn't sound bad until I wagered $4/hand until I met the requirements and was down $200 of my own money. Cashed out with the remainder and will never play there again. I never won a bet where I split (12 times) cards. This has to be impossible. Anyway; good luck if you play there.
