VegasLobby, with all due respect, I find nothing offensive in Mary's post. I do kind of find your slamming of her a bit childish..and I do not understand where she deserved that.

I closed my accounts at The Gaming Club when they went from 24 to 48 hour reversal and didn't process winnings on the weekends, which in some cases could extend the reversal times to 4 days. Part of this was that I didn't want the temptation but more because I was getting fed up with the delays in payment processing.

They claimed the change from 24 to 48 hour reversal time was "due to popular demand".

it's not just self control, it's also brain chemistry. So you have to exercize more self control than folks with different brain chemistry.

I hope you get the support you need in GA and meet some interesing folks there; this isn't a good place for you.

Mrracetrack, you are dead on correct. Now, if I can just convince myself. I hate being this way. Back to GA and tell em what I did and start over, I guess. I will never understand the difference between those with self control and those without it. This is really an ugly disease. It takes much more out of you than your money alone.

Gamerz,
Obviously you should NOT be
involved with on line gambling,
or ANY type of gambling activities.

Even if you HAD cashed out your winnings,
do you really think that a day or two
later, this same senerio wouldn't have
started again?

You need to stay away from anything
related to gambling.

I think you already know that.

Heck, I don't know why I bothered posting this on a public forum, other than to get it off my chest. Since nobody knows who I really am, I guess.
I was a recovered compulsive gambler for about 4 years. The casino spam would come, and I'd readilly delete it. Finaly, the offers caught me in a time where I could really use a buck and they wore me down.

Without naming the place, I can only say that I signed up for a free offer of chips, on a match deposit. First I played nickle slots, hit the jackpot for $150, then thought to my self....I have enough now to bankroll a blackjack game. I ran that $150 into $2800, cashed in, then reversed it thinking I could make some more, solve some problems, etc. When I reversed it, I then ran that up to a little over $6000.

Well, you can guess what kind of thinking happened over the next 2 days, while they still had not processed my withdrawal. I even emailed them and asked please DO NOT LET THESE FUNDS BE AVAILABLE TO ME! They, of course did not comp...

"It always seems like the software is in the retailiation mode, and not only do I lose, but lose fast."
********************************************

I have seen mention by someone else about your playing record/habits/selections etc;
are tracked (aside from normal and required record keeping). Saying if you quit a game and come back in a couple hours or couple days and start playing again, as far as the software is concerned you just picked up where you left off.

Kind of going along with your statement,if you had a losing streak coming,it is still there waiting on you (IF that statement is true, which I tend to go along with).

Of course, the person that made the statement was considering that they were playing against strategy and not the RNG.If so, there is only one way I can think of to thwart that.

"Are you sure you don't have a gambling problem?"

It's more than that. I have an obsessive / compulsive disorder. (really)

It effects all different areas, but I really don't want to talk about that here. I got the thinking that if I won $$$, then maybe I could win more. Wrong!

I was just enting, that I wish the withdrawals could be locked. Winning is not my problem, getting out with it is. Just don't like that feature of the software, is all. Maybe I need to give up online gaming. Land based is only 2 hours from me, and for some reason, I don't have that problem there. Of course, I normally have the regulator with me there. (my wife)

Any suggestions?

Are you sure you don't have a gambling problem? I don’t say this to be a smartass, rather I don’t want to see someone get hurt gambling, and your post, at first glance, suggests that you are unable to exercise discipline when it comes to gambling.

To be honest, I cash out a winner ery frequently, and I’ve never gone back and reversed a cash-in.

I believe some people delete the software after a cashin...

I build a big fat doobre and tell the missus she can spend it when the cheque arrives..Thats why these casinos must pay up.Keeping a woman from her shopping is something you just don't do!Remember that when you are ready, poised to reverse(just a suggestion) ..Joeyl.

Ok, this is one that has been bugging me for a long time. I have always been able to leave a land based casino with winnings intact, since I simply cash in my chips. Once I am in my car and back home, I can no longer gamble, read, safe.

Online, it's a different story. I don't know how many times, I've gotten a big win, cashed it in, then sat there, either due to boredom, or got the bug to try and win some more. You can guess what happens next...a reverse cash in. Why is it that invariably, when I have tried this, I get eaten alive?
It always seems like the software is in the retailiation mode, and not only do I lose, but lose fast.

I wrote one casino the other day, asking them if they would please not make the funds available during the processing of my cash out. They of did not want to help with this.

I'm not here to whine, as I know what I did, but I really feel that they should give you the option of not being able to do a reverse cashin, once you withdraw it.
I'...
