as far as the people saying "i have had a great experience at bayou", i wouldnt disagree with them. i have never had any sort of negative experience with any of this network's skins. however, i have ALWAYS received whatever has been advertised. obvioiusly i dont know the inner workings, and whos specifically to blame, but SOMEONE dropped the ball over there. when a business drops the ball, as this one has, they should expect to bend over backwards for irate customers, not the other way around. i would just think that if someone had deposited a large amt due to this being erroneously advertised, they would be entitled to get their money back out immediately, no questions asked, no hoops to jump through. it seems as if a couple people were running up against a few roadblocks. perhaps im wrong to jump on the "black list" bandwagon, but many of the things i have read make me take a large sigh of releif for NOT having deposited a large portion of my roll (would have been less than 10k$ U...

I'd certainly suggest you look into that at this point. You also may have the size and the growth to negotiate directly with Ongame and cut out the Futurebet middleman. It certainly sounds like you have nearly as much traffic as Holdempoker.

The $2k cashout max is a deal-killer for me, and the $2500 deposit limit somewhat less so. Those are terms I can't imagine agreeing to as a poker site which hopes to grow. Your most valuable potential customers are the ones who are pulling more than $2k out per week playing the higher games. I'm on the cusp of that myself, and I don't want to be caught not being able to get my money out.

To address a few issues for you guys.... Basicaly the 7x was yanked. There were players who were abusing the 7x non contrib. by simply folding over and over then getting "free money" I figured it would always be a give and take, but when it comes down to brass tacks, the company we license through would never allow any type of "loss" to be accepted. Even at 12x, you can still earn up to 58% which is higher still than the old 50% we used to have. Granted this doesnt apply to all players. We have come up with a solution for some of the players by providing VIP status on a per request/individual review basis. This VIP status has a number of perks. Simply put, the top players get a better release rate (10x vs. 12x).

In regards to a few other issues , I will simply paste in my comments from another board, no need to "reinvent the wheel"."

<< If there is anything in the future that we can do to have you come back, please let me know >>

They could adjust the bonus for all the 12x folks who feel they got mislead (like me), to say 9x.

I think that would make eveyone pretty happy, and negate a lot of this withdrawing, waiving rollover requirements, and general bad will towards the site.

Just change it to 9s, and I'll play it. If not, I'll be asking for the waive.

They have been treating me pretty well also. Maybe because of the fact that I've been playing a ton there lately. Got $2500 in bonuses at 7x and cleared $1400 already. Unfortunately, while I was waiting for the other $7500 in bonuses to be credited to my account, they changed it to 12x, but I still think it's great for a rainy day and will probably finish the $7500 someday since it never expires. They've waived my cashout limit and I was able to get 2k out today with another 6k on its way in 1-2 business days according to customer service (they had to split it up into 4 $2k withdrawals for some reason).

I've noticed they put your rake paid and also the amount you rolled over in your "My Account" section on their website (not the cashier), if you were curious. It seems like with their accounting, I've paid less in rake than the bonuses, so I can understand them changing it to 12x. $2500 at 7x was the best bonus I ever got at a PokerRoom skin (or maybe even best bonus ever), so I'm no...

700 points = $1000 in table rake.

I honestly can't tell you if that is normal or not for 1/2NL. Does he use PokerTracker? He could check the total rake generated for those 1800 hands there.

ninguno: Excellent point. Again, I don't think this is really Bayou's call at all - I think they had this shoved down their throat. It still doesn't make me exactly pleased with them, obviously, but I've reserved my personal cashout frustrations to be split between FutureBet (their licensor/backend support) and myself for not reading the T&C more closely.

Still not thrilled with them, of course - and I have to say that their complete silence in this thread is doing nothing for them. Frankly, I'd be happy to have them come on and simply say "Look, there isn't crap we can do about it. They jammed the terms down our throat, we have no control over it, we're as pissed as you. And the waiving of the rollover requirements is also their call.... that's the only way we can do...

I`m posting this for a buddy,

He deposited 600$ under the 12x terms, he has 7200 pts to clear the bonus, he played 3 tables at 1/2 NL, he has wagered 1800. Do you guys think he would of cleared close to the bonus yet?

He says his total pts are like at 700. Are the pts droping down as remaining, or they are going up.

He feels he played alot for only getting 700 pts.... on the other hand 700 pts would be like he played 1000 where the pot went to $10....

Thanks for any input

They're taking a serious hit on all the transactions. When you're a big site like party you can afford it. But they had everyone deposit under the terms that they'd have to wager 1x before withdrawing, and waiving that literally takes the associated rake out of their pockets.

They have a very casino mentality to their business, which is mostly inconvenient for bonus whores. They offered some free money, it turned out not to be quite as free as we expected, and we have to jump through some hoops to get back our investment. It's something you just have to deal with in the life of a whore. Don't feel so personally affronted.

The astounding thing about how badly this has been handled is that a week ago, we were all singing this new site's praises. They have lost all that goodwill, and are now slow on cashouts and making up silly rules in order to {sigh} get the money back that you deposited...money that reputable sites like Stars will have back in your account instantaneously.

Why, you ask? Because they tried to add traffic by offering a bonus that is, for all intents and purposes, just 100% rakeback.

I didn't know short-sighted 12 year-olds could start a poker site.

I would not consider that acceptable. In fact, for Bayou to be asking any of its customers for concessions right now seems to be in extremely poor taste.

Remind them that you're withdrawing because they've reneged on an advertised promotion. Whether it's their fault or Futurebet's, holding their customers' money in this circumstance is not appropriate, confiscating winnings doubly so.

How does the Cash club work? Is it just for casino comps or is it a straight trade for cash into your poker account? I couldnt get a response from them on it nor could i login to the "cash club"???

No, I cleared the rollover. Playing $5/$10, it isn't that hard to do, and I had enough pending bonus to be worth my while.

Of course, now that I know about this "rule", I really wish that I had asked Tom to help waive the requirements, so I could have gotten the clock started earlier. Over half my working (liquid) bankroll is tied up at the site right now, and I'm none too pleased about it.

Does anyone know if you can use the poker points you get from Bayou to enter tournaments (like on Hollywood poker)? I usually do the Hollywood Poker 15x one every month and use the points tournaments which makes it worth more to me, but if I can get 12x here and use the points to enter tournaments too I'd be switching over to Bayou
