The $2 is basically the right to maintain your stable. You don't have to pay this if you terminate the account altogether.

Was kind of interesting, I got to test things out before my CC got rejected. Costs look expensive up front but you are not charged for racing (up to 4 times a month I think) whereas at Digiturf, you pay to enter every race - a bit more realistic, and the "stabling" cost is $15/month.

These are a lot of fees. Coincidentally, the $2 fee is not just a fee for retiring your horse. It is a recurring admin fee for all accounts that do not completely close, yet have no horses to maintain. I wonder how they incurr accounting charges on an account with no activity?

Anyway, these are a lot of fees, buried way down near the bottom of the T&C. What I don't get, is what the heck is the incentive for me to go out and spend $50 on a irtual horse? Do you actually win something?

I would also be concerned with the remark that horses will not be able to qualify in races until your payment has been erified. Does this mean they have the ability to "program" a horse to not win, or are they just saying that if you happen to win you will receive no credit?

This site interested me, so I checked it out. I wanted to enter their forum to see what members had to say, but could not get into the forum without becoming a member. I was going to sign-up, but you have to give your credit card information just to sign-up.

Why would they need this info, I wonder?

So I go to do more inspection at the website and all it says is that the "races are free" and that they are running a promotion to "acquire a free horse".

If it is free, why do they need a credit card? At this point, I was annoyed as hell with the site and would not sign-up if they paid me, but went to read the terms & conditions anyway just to see what the deal was.

All the way at the bottom it says you have to pay a $30 a month "stable fee". Huh? There are other fees to, but the kicker is that you have to pay $2 if you retire your horse and do not want to compete anymore.
