Casinos using RTG software are taking alot of hits and they are rightly deserved. It was my favorite software. They also have some of the most notorious casinos for not answering email and paying customers. I thought it was great that RTG stepped in and saw to it I got my money. What I would like to see now is that Gaming Enterprises lose their franchise. At the ery least, have their advertisement removed from RTG's website. Now you can have a good laugh. The $700 wasn't winnings. It was the remainder of my $1000 deposit. I was about to write it off. The info I got from this site is what saved me. I hope others are as fortunate.

Mary - glad to see I have a partner in dislike of Cutesy Wutzey Groupie syndrome; however, I'm not sure Winston and Julia would have gone up in arms on this one; if you think you've said goodbye to $700 dollars' ligitimate winnings to then discover that a mediation process has recovered it to you, of course you shout and scream for joy; I've kissed backside for a lot less than this ($700); I make a point of always saying thank you for receipt of winnings, and if I had an RTG gripe that Michael was able to resolve for me, I'd see no reason to change my practice, and it wouldn't grant me Cutesy Groupie status, either.
Regarding players who don't keep records; this is man-stuff (no offence); online gambling is desperately full of pitfalls; if you choose to ignore them, choose to be irresponsible with your money, don't expect any sympathy from me; you owe it to yourself to give yourself the best possible chance to come out on top. If you are a recently lobotomized compulsive gambler with a big cred... | | Read Entire Entry |

Given that you also only have 4 posts to your name, ouching for him probably won't carry any weight with the regulars here. If, however, a regular is willing to ouch for him, that's another story entirely.

Given that I am the player who recommended that Diz isit this site and having corresponded with him by post for the better part of 6 months I can ouch for his credentials. He is neither a casino shill or a compulsive gambler.
Isn't part of the process sharing not only the bad news but the good news as well?Apparently RTG is stepping up at least for some players.Does this make me want to dash out and deposit my money with a RTG casino? Well no.But it is one small step in restoring my confidence in the system.

I am the online casinos worst enemy. I am the professional winner. If an online casino plays by its own rules, it is impossible for them to win. Surely you know that? For what ever reason would someone play an online casino?

Suspicious post by a new member. I am not sure about you. When I see a post by a long time member stating they got paid then I believe. You may be telling the truth maybe not. I agree with OPA Mary, it is the casinos that should be grateful for our business. I still wait for my few hundred bucks from Casino On Line.

Two years ago, I computed the possibilities of not being paid when making withdrawals. The average was 10%of average winnings per year. I had fully expected to beaten out of my $700. I still would have been within mathematical predictions. What surprised me was the help that RTG gave me. If Software providers begin holding their franchisees to task on how they treat their customers, then the player must surely benefit. I was told to come to this site and read the posts about RTG. Fortunately, I took the advice. I filled out the necessary info on the form and sent it in. I recvd. the money that was due me. If RTG allows this line of communication to stay open for players with problems then I will surely return to playing at their casinos.

Well said Mary. Kind of makes me queasy how they have programmed players into being "grateful" for receiving their winnings, although I understand exactly how a player feels to finally get winnings they thought were hopelessly lost.
Good for you for taking RTG to task on their methods of mitigating their out of pocket expenses, while getting good PR for their "magnanimity".

Just to interject some grumpiness here:
*Players shouldn't have to go through this to get paid.
*If RTG or the casinos in question really wanted to pay all owed players, they could. They have the records. This is the 21st century and we are using computers.
*RTG has stepped in and paid players who are networked into the bulletin boards and have their own records good enough to file a claim. This is probably a relatively small percentage of players overall, but ocal and influential in creating a reputation going forward.
*RTG submitted no press releases about this. It's not mentioned on casino sites. I don't think there were emailings sent to the player databases of affected casinos or through any email marketing routes.
It just makes me kind of sick to see players so grateful for receiving their money. It is gracious of all the players to say thank you, but, please, people, let's not let Orwellian Groupthink make us have an emotional response of gratitude in... | | Read Entire Entry |

(Well, in my neck of the woods, "c*ck eyed" is an entirely polite expression meaning "pear-shaped", "skew-whiff" and no doubt arious others I can't presently bring to mind; no reference whatsoever to male genitilia.
Sorry, ladies.)

Yes, it would be great if they kept that dispute service up and running, for all concerned; players know that some serious muscle is waiting in the wings if things go ****-eyed, and the casinos and RTG benefit from that renewed player confidence. Winners all round.

I filled out the claims form for RTG on 1/30 and just recvd. a check for my $702.50 by Fedex today. I had played at blue sea casino and never got an answer to any of my emails for two months. I recvd. one email from RTG after submitting my claims form and within two weeks recvd. my check. I always liked RTG software. I have played almost all their casinos. Please keep dispute@realtimegaming.com operating. I will return to playing at casinos that use your software if I know that I am not at their mercy when something goes wrong. For the time being, I will watch to see if others are treated as well as you treated me. Once again. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I had just about given up. You were my last resort.
