This isn't a popular angle, but you're echoing my thoughts, and unintentianally paraphrasing past comments, to a certain extent.
You must use common sense in your online gambling, or in the choosing of your "targets", whatever your angle is. It's your money; if you put it in jeopardy simply because you are "right", and are breaking no "rules", you are playing an ill-advised game. Suppose I'm not even bonus-hunting; suppose I'm playing a "legitimate" game; supposing I choose to rack up a five-figure win at a struggling RTG; supposing I don't get paid; did I break any rules? No; Do I have the right to shout and scream? Of course; but I'm still out of pocket, and most likely will remain so. But I was right. Big deal.
"Why did you run over that old lady?"
"Well, officer, I did see her, but I had right of way".

From what I see on these boards; serious $xK punters, who are pretty professional at their trade, are burying the smaller operators who dont get enough little mugs to cover the big punter losses.
Those that get hit, and simply refuse to pay, get squawked at.
Im no casino operator sympathiser but has anyone heard of 'The boy who owned the goose that layed golden eggs' story.
Kill it if you want to, but don't expect sympathy. The choice is yours, and yours alone. If you ramp up 30K and dont cash out at sensible points before that, then your thick.
You might be able get a degree in astrophysics, but you couldnt get a standard grade in common sense.
I have also seen a couple of punters here who have admitted to being a bit more discrete about their online gaming.
Now that makes sense.
