Bill,
I come from Germany and only the fact that I have not been scammed, stiffed or cheated by Startnet/World Gaming while playing on some sites like Cortez does not mean I am affiliated with them. At least they all do pay, even if it needs 2 weeks. All moaning about EFS payment system as a third party, but they insure the payments.
First time I heard of Cortez was in a december news issue at Casinomeister and Iīll like the 3.2 software, thatīs all.
If you have been scammed, thatīs bad but I do not see this problem in general.

Allright. Enough with all the People affiliated with the company in question posting on here. Trying to save their reputation. I don't care what you say. I was scammed by the Company that owns Sportsbetting.com,AAAACasino,ClubRio,CyberbetCasino and WorldWideGamble. I don't care about Casino Cortez or whatever its called.

Besides the fact that George is lying (He does own the place and he lives in the US) He did pay this guy i knew over a 10,000$ win on a 10,000$ bonus. Way to go george. I think George's financial and promotional plan wasn't really in place and it wasn't entirely his fault. As a baby you are pretty liberal about things until the first girl breaks your heart, the first bully beats you up, etc etc... I'm sure his casino getting hit with half a million in deposits (my rough guess) in deposits in a week or less was sort of like the unexpected heartbreak. He will learn and be wise to how to handle future promotions. But for now i think he has acted wise. I think he will inevitably get bitten in the ass because he does own the casino and he does live in the US. I do respect you lying about it because quite frankly you have no other choice I'd do the same. Anyways George it's good you were a class act and paid most of your players. I know a few people who were upset because they put in large amounts of money an... | | Read Entire Entry |

Hi George,
I have some questions:
a) Is it correct that World Gaming is working on a system to pay out players within 2 days?
b) Do you expect to launch a progressive jackpot system like microgaming or cryptologic sites and when? Will the cortez "house slot" be connected?
c) Recently I heard that World Gaming is working on multi-player poker, any info on that?
d) Will the java suite be extended with more games, e.g. Roulette and Craps?
Thanks and all the best for your start in the biz.

Cool... just got another quite big PayPal payment from Casino Cortez. In my opinion this place rules.
The reasons can be summed up as:
1) The software looks better than almost anything else.
2) World Gaming knows how to transfer both deposits and winnings to PayPal - just like Bossmedia. ProcCyber can't handle anything at all. Payments are a bit slower than Bossmedia though.
3) Great sign-up bonus.

Never heard of Crystal Casino. 90% of the Starnet sites are sublicensees and affiliate sites so you really have to find out which Licensee they are under in order to get in touch with someone.
I agree that the sublicensee/affiliate nonsense needs to be monitored more by worldgaming. Because it is so easy to setup multiple sites some of these bastards create spam sites offering huge bonuses or free bets without deposit to generate a high number of signups for which they can spam at a later time.

There were major problems with Crystal Casino over a year ago. They wouldn't credit bonuses after playthrough was done and then even after that people started complaining of unathorized charges on the cards from Crystal and wouldn't you know that they were impossible to contact.
I have been jipped bonuses from a few Starnet casinos also. They offer an automatic 10% credited immediately. Sometimes they will offer more, like 20% or 30%, but you have to play 3x or 4x deposit to qualify then email the casino manager (licensee). Some of these managers don't like to add promised bonuses if you are ahead when you try to claim it, in essense WINNING. There have also been cases were they never even credited losers with the bonus. It doesn't sound like that big of a deal until you've wagered 5k and are down $300 waiting for a $200 bonus and never getting it, turing a $100 loss into a $300 loss. On top of that these bonuses are always later then their webpages indicate, two days usually means about a week... | | Read Entire Entry |

zrapture,
Please enlighten me. Where are the players that have been screwed by Worldgaming sites? I seem to remember a licensee a few years ago who didn't pay customers and Starnet gave him the boot.

WorldGaming IS trustworthy in my opinion and won't rip your off. It's their damn licensees that are te problem. Unfortunetely, they don't charge much to run one of their casinos which makes it some any numbnuts with a little cash can run a casino. Many players have gotten screwed at Worldgaming sites by these licensees, when this happens Worldgaming is nowhere to be found.

I have been playing at Casino Cortez too and until now I have no complaints whatsoever. Friendly customer service, generous bonus and a nice download software.
I got the instant bonus promised on the web site and nothing has been deducted from my account.
I have been extremely lucky at this place, and I was able to more than double the bonus amount I was given playing BlackJack. I have made 2 seperate withdrawals with 3 days between them. I got the first (a big one) yesterday, and I will keep you informed as soon as the next part is processed.
By the way, the software in the download ersion is ery fast and looks ery good.

Wasn't Club Rio the No.1 at Gambling.com at one point? They were generous with the oting money and the manager there seemed honest/helpful...but we never ever won there with or without bonuses.
But I recall Pyramid having good blackjack and prompt payment with efficient staff.

As far as the affiliate program goes I would say it is more accurate than most from my experience of promoting many programs through overture. They did appear to have a problem about a year ago though.

Just wanted to post that I too made a deposit in accordance with the website. 20 minutes latter the account was locked. A week later finally could get back in and 95% of my bonus removed.
I will wait until I receive my cashout until I give the details so I make sure George does not keep it. Much like he took back the bonus I originally received.
EDIT: this is a new name I am posting under. My usual name is the same as my player name at George's casino. I dont' want to take any chances that George retaliates by deleting my account.
Oh, and George don't call me at home at 2AM ever again.

Why was your bonus adjusted?
When it was realized that the accounts were receiving $10k bonuses which should have only been $1,000 we immediately froze the accounts and addressed the situation.
All accounts that had not played thru their bonus chips were allocated 1,000 bonus chips. Any account that had used 1,000 bonus chips already was left with zero bonus chips.
The email address you have as your info does not match any on record, if you would contact us with reference to this board, we will look into this further and explain to you as stated above.
As for taking the cake? Yes, we really do. Any Casino that honors a 10k bonus payout and many others....must be a pretty honest casino with the intention to make good.

Mr.prosperity
Im glad to see you responded and you must agree that CasinoCortez is a legitimate Casino that has payed 100% of our winners.
Bonuses & promotions are available for players to feel more welcome in our casino and to encourage them to try us out. You can appreciate that when a bonus is being abused it is not in our interest to keep that promotion online. CasinoCortez has built its players wit recurring bonuses after their initial deposit which are always quite generous.
The person who made the post "friendof2" is just a friend of the owners, who by the way is not me and they were just trying to get some more attention to the Casino. We never employed him to make those posts.
Now that we have ironed out these issues and you can see that we are interested in your comments why dont you at least deposit $20.00 with our Casino and give us a shot.
As we have stated on our site, we will double your deposit up to $50.

Yes George I emailed you the link to this post since I thought it only fair you have the chance to reply.
The facts presented about deceptive bounus offers are all truethful.
Please restrain yourself and/or your employees from spamming this board trying to decoy as actual players. It is embarresing to you and insulting to us.
Congrats on the new casino I do hope this thread encourages you to be more mindful of your promos in the future.
The best of luck to you George.

Dear Mr.prosperity9035
I was forwarded this morning your comments on CasinoCortez.com and I felt that it was only right that I respond and set the record straight.
Your comments are about CasinoCortez's business practices and are pure hearsay.
You state that you yourself have not gambled and have no personal first hand experience with CasinoCortez.
We are not going to sit down and give you a list of all the customers who have bet and won on with our Casino.
You seem to know our players well and I ask that you contact them and question if they won or lost?
You mention an adjustment of bonuses that were made towards players accounts. The adjustment was made because an incorrect bonus was given to these players. Even after the adjustment was made the bonus left in the players accounts was larger then any other online Casino has given to a player. We honored all winings in the tens of thousands of dolloars. Players accounts were locked because of a red flag t... | | Read Entire Entry |

As Zrap indicated he is an employee of Starnet possibly even Casino Cortez since he lives in the same town at the owner of Casino Cortez.
A person by the name of George claims he owns Cortez Casino. I do not know if this is true or not. I also do not claim to know if the above poster is George.
However, he did make offers to players and when they made deposits HE locked EVERY players account in his data base. He then prevented access to their accounts for a week. Once these players were able to log back into their accounts many of them found their bonuses had been partially or completely removed.
He then called players at their homes q... | | Read Entire Entry |
