Fortune Lounge certainly seems to be intensifying it's efforts to get new customers; more recently it's been promoted by Gonegambling.
One wonders whether it's to retain its market share or is trying to extend its customer base in preparation for expansion. I enjoy that group.
Here, no cigarette ads are allowed, altho land casino and alcohol ads are. I recently saw an online casi ad in local magazine and was really surprised, as no one I know (out of dozens of land gamblers) indulge.
I had a squiz at ICQ out of interest, and was astounded by the number of kids who listed gambling as a hobby when quickflicking through the first few pages of gambling as an interest. So are they playing for fun, or for real online?
How does one get rid of ICQ? Just can't get it to disappear!

Well, they advertise Land Casinos in places where casinos are illegal, so it would seem there should not be a taboo against this.
It amazes me that land gambling is okay, but internet gambling is a scourge. Kids who want to gamble (have sex, do drugs, stay out too late), have managed to do these things w/o inteference from the government.
If that is the concern, they should stop wasting taxpayers' money on this effort. Congress has never been able to police morality, and that is not going to change.

Up late working on project for work with Travel Channel on in background. Take a break and see a 30 second commercial for "Fortune Lounge.net" Couldn't believe I was seeing this ad on TV. I'd heard about the tattoos on boxers, but this is the first time I've seen an ad.
Given the rather nebulous standing of online gaming in the US (translation=Congress wants to save us from ourselves.. NOT!) I was kind of surprised to see this ad.
Have any of you other folks seen this? Am I just behind the times because I usually am not awake at midnight unless it's on a weekend?

PS: Mr Racetrack: It was Jason Lumpkins day at BayMeadows. He (and the horses, of course) won, I believe, four out of five races. Of course, I was betting on Russell Baze. Loss of $80 for day...left by 8th race. I couldn't even pick one at Santa Anita. And Eddie Delahousse (sp) riding an 8-1 horse screwed up the one superfecta I bet on.
