Just for the record, at Roxy Palace, my wife and I managed to hit the 3 red sevens twice, and also two red sevens with a major millions ($800.) ...not normally so fortunate, but it does happen.
Biggest slot Jackpot my wife ever hit was a small Cash Splash ($14,700.) ...it might have been small by way of Cash Splash jackpots, but we weren't complaining!

Heidi,
I've noticed this myself. Seems that I can spin and spin at max bet, and get nothing!! Decrease my bet, and pop!! Hit something. How much programming would it take to alter the outcome depending on the size of the bet? Not much considering the level of sophistication of the games themselves.
If the game is set to 97%, then it must take into account what "wins" have accrued at a given time, or am I over-reaching?

I wasn't pretending to be a girl. I use that name in a lot of places. Actually never thought about the male-female thing. I don't pay attention to any hidden messages in "handles". Sorry if I mislead.

I am a girl.
Heidi is your dog's name?? I can understand a girl posing as a man on a message board, but the other way arouind? what for?
slotmach1 - you play EXACTLY like I DO!!!!
Amateur Sleuth - you play like I do too!! I hit 5 sphinx's in a complex row on treasure nile TWICE but missed the $3,000.00 since I wasn't bettin max!
I found the best thing to do in those cases is to must try to think that if you had been playing the max, you might not have hit it and MOVE on. Never never continue to "chase" that elusive lost big win cause it ain't gonna happen again for another 10,000 spins or so.
And yes I have hit alot of mini jackpots. I did hit that 5 spinx for $3,000.00 twice. I've hit the 3rd best one twice for $1500.00.
MAJOR MILLIONS just means YOUR major millions. I did hit the double red sevens with an MM sybol TWICE! for $800.00. Not in the same session.
I've noticed that once you win big, its best to go on to something el... | | Read Entire Entry |

Sh..t, what's a mix up! Very Funny!
So actually joeyl, tell me honestly whether you are a man or woman, lady or gentleman,...., whatever.
I tell you where my impression of you being a girl came from. First of all, your name is joey, I know too many girls named joey, so I'm surprised now if anybody named Richard tell me that it is HER name.
Secondly, the style you write is so care-free, easy-going, which is typical of a lady's style.
Thirdly, you always address other people as MR., which is so tender & gentle! Rarely from a male gambler.
Anyway, I hope you are a girl, helps fantasizing.
Since this thread now becomes a boy girl thread, anybody who has been misunderstood should take this opportunity to clarify his/her sex or marital status for future convenience.

And that my friends is how these casinos make money.
If you want to haggle about $150 like this Nile Casino guy does then you will never see someone drop a couple large in a session and go to a message board to post about the fun time he had while doing it.
You dink around with the small things like these tiny tiny bonuses and you lose far more potential revenue than you save.

hi, guys
glad to know of people hitting the jackpots. AND GETTING PAID!!
mrwolf: you can say that again, the MM is a big teaser. however, i hit the 2 red sevens combined w/ an MM - got $800 and after a couple of clicks got all three red sevens on the upper line for $400 on my first try of this game at a fortune lounge casino. i cashed in $1,000 but got overly excited again the next day, thought the luck would still be there, reversed $500, lost it then reversed the remaining and put in some more during that night, ended up in a bigger hole than what i had intended to play with. it sucks!!! i came back back after a week. played another $500 hoping the sevens would strike again. nope!! it sure is tempting to see over a million jackpot, ain't it?

It can't be random if you start with a guaranteed return to the house.
All casino games start with a guaranteed return to the house.

What makes you guys think I'm a woman? Heidi is my dogs name. Sorry not to have corrected this earlier. By the way, I am not impressed with internet gambling for several reasons:
1. You can't play the machine. There is no pattern or decernable payoff cycle.
2. It can't be random if you start with a guaranteed return to the house.
3. I don't like playing everyone in the world instead of a machine.
4. To much trouble getting your cash back.
5. However, the players are the nicest bunch of people I have "met" in a long time.

LMAO...I saw that and wondered about you...I always thought you were a guy. Maybe it's the "mate" expression you use...I've never heard a girl use that.
Lots of people have called me a guy online, I never felt like correcting them. The "Syd" kinda throws people off but it's a nickname I've always had.

Hey....I'm a woman. I could give you a great prospective from a woman who gambles online and loses most of the time. Vickinz would be a good one too....although I don't think she loses as much as me.

I'm in the middle of doing a story on women who gamble online and I'd like to arrange an interview with you (anonymously, of course) about your experiences. The article is for a leading Women's magazine. Could you contact me at kevin@rlmpr.com?

eek: That's what I like the most about Lasseter's....you can play for a really long time if you want. I've started to play slots there when I need to go to sleep, it's been working better than a sleeping pill.

I was up a bit at Lasseters at the weekend and decided to give their slots a whirl for a change.
I ended up playing for six hours....and the sound of it is still banging around in my head 3 days later.
click. diddely doodely diddely doodely, thud. thud. thud.
click. diddely doodely diddely doodely, thud. thud. thud.
click. diddely doodely diddely doodely, thud. thud. thud.....for 6 hours.
The 25c was a lot looser than the $1 game btw, I ended up a few bucks more than when I started.
It struck me as a good 'lazy mans' way to gamble since the only real decision to make is when to stop.
I'll be back later though.

I also like Double Magic and Jurassic alot.
Same deal, hit 2 stars w/everything
never hit 2 dinos w/skeleton though.
I like CrackerJack and FortuneCookies and Jetset also.
They will eat ur lunch in the long run though. Got to hope for a good hit and run like crazy.
Glad you got ur dough Heidi.

Heidi - you're right, MM is a sucker's game. I prefer games where the player has a fighting chance which is why I avoid the slots.
However, with a jackpot at over a million, it was too hard to pass up trying a few spins!

Heidi,
SHOPPING!!
I've hit the three CashSplash, but I was only playing $2, stupid, I know. Then hit two CashSplash and 7 right behind it, for $3. Closed the door after the horse bolted. Jackpot was $75,000!! I was sick, not so bad now though.
I've seen casinos list names of playes who hit the "mini-jackpot", but I didn't know any of them.
I'm a slot player too, and Double Magic is my fav. Had two Stars with everything, and two stars alone, two Dinos with everything and alone, but can't get the third.
Someone must hit it though.
Congratulations again, on your wins!!

The off one line seven means nothing guys. The instant yo click the mouse the mainframe sends back a selected display. Might as well have blank lines as 2 sevens. The isual display is just for your perception of what is going on. Doesn't mean you JUST missed it - means you missed it. Used to bother me - now I ignore it. MMs is a suckers game. I played and figured the system to be paying less than 50% to get that high pot. Try the nonprogressives for return. Probably about 90% - just know when to quit.... Has any one ever hit a mini jackpot on a progressive - you know where you get 3 in a row but not the big jackpot. No one I have talked to ever has - curious......

Heidi,
I'm a blackjack, baccarat and craps player, and don't play the slots.
However, Major Millions has caused me to break my cardinal rule and play the machines!
I was curious though - what's the biggest amount you've won on MM?
I got three different 7s yesterday at Spin Palace which pays $50. And about five or six times I've had two red sevens line up with the third just one place off, which is bloody annoying since that pays $400!

Good question. Could be an hour unless it's Fiesta Fruit - that is one SLOW game and difficult to stay ahead. I have played for 4 hors before I got to my quit amount. Put in $200 and 4 hours later quit with $220. The RNG was giving me a continuous roller coaster ride with little upside. Oddly enough, I lost it all the next night witout a decent hit. Guess you never know.

Heidi:
I'll say it again....you are one lucky lady. Congratulation on your big one!
Question for you....how long do you sit there putting $1.00's in a machine before you quit and move on? I'm really curious about that.

Just wanted you all to know that this morning I received a wire transfer from Lichtenstein for $22,400 from Pigs Peak Casino. Turns out that using my cash card created a delay because they can't post to an ATM. However, my credit cards were "blocked" from gambling by the issuers. Also, picked up $800 on the Jurasic Park slot last night. That is I quit while ahead! Dropped $300 on the million $$ progressive - now I know how it gets over a millon. It was like throwing it out the window - VERY FAST LOSS - but WHAT AN UPSIDE - for some lucky player! Thanks to all who helped.
