Hi Slotski,
Did you know that you can play Jurrassic Jackpot with 25 cent bets, and Double Magic with fifty cent min. bets? I have been playing for the past weeks, thinking that $1 was the minimum. Not quite nickel slots, but better than $1/spin.

Thanks Syd, and yes, I've made a few donations to GP over the past year - still waiting for the tax deductible receipts to be sent. I love how when you lose five hands in a row you're alerted that Wanda has just won $4500 in French Roulette lol.
$50 is a good amount to budget per month, and if you're going to play, it might as well be in the tournament. Like I said before, I always feel comfortable playing GP as you never have to worry about whether or not you'll get paid if you win. Best of Luck to you!

Durham: That was one awesome feat!!! WTG! I got knocked out in the first day of qualifying. I have such bad luck there that I promise myself not to spend over $50 and if it goes - I'm done. It's kinda become my monthly donation to GP - but one of these days I hope to make it at least to the final...again, nice job.

Thanks for your input and advice Nifty, Syd, Dave, eek, ickinz and slotski. This is ery useful information for me, especially regarding Double Diamond Deluxe (if I ever play RTG again) and Lasseters where I have never played before. My girlfriend is going to love those nickel slots.
On a different note Syd, I hope I get to play with you sometime in the final at the monthly Global Player bj tournament. I managed to make it to the final this month - and was leading going into the final round - but alas, the dealer wouldn't pull a 10.
The tournament took about an hour to play. It was lots of fun, and you get to play with the GameMaster who's taught me so much about bj and p. Kudos to the friendly management and staff at GP.
Sorry, that last part isn't related to slots (awful when you start a topic and can't even keep it on track), but thought I'd just slip it in.
Cheers,
Durham

If MG had nickel machines and a nickel progressive I would play them exclusively.
PS- I know they dont have the greatest rep, and the games run a little slow, but you might check out www.galaxiworld.com. I have played here for going on 3 yrs w/no problems and they have quite a good selection of slots that can be played as low as .05. Is java though and little slow, but the graphics are as good (or better) than MG slots.
Good luck from a retired slot freak (online that is. I have to play Double Diamond and Double RWB on land, LOL)

Durham, I have found MG slots are far superior to any of the other software.
I used to play (now only play VP):
Double Magic
Jurassic Jackpot
Jetset
Fortune Cookie
Firecracker
All of these are nice ones and take awhile to eat you up. I have never hit the 800 coin jackpot either on any of them (firecracker is 5000 i think). Have hit 400 coins several times, mostly on Double Magic (2stars, and a 7). The MG 5line games like Winning Wizards tend to eat me alive so i stick to the 1 line games.
RTG- Nifty is right Double Diamond Deluxe is a neat game and ery fair. Sevens and Stripes is nice too (almost exactly like IGT land game "Red, White and Blue"). Plus you can play nickels if trying to conserve.
Lasseters- is ok. Like the fact can play super cheap (even .01). Not too crazy about the graphics.
Crypto- all of their slots are crummy in my opinion.
Boss- Been so long since i played them but my memory also is they are "Cher G... | | Read Entire Entry |

Starluck (java ersion) and Good as Gold have low denomination slots too. Starluck gave a slotplayer, who redeemed points ia My Casino Opinions, a $30,000+ win and she did get a big part payment within days. Starluck paid me within 1-2 days from memory, altho their BJ was thought to be suspect by a poster.

I rarely play slots for real $$$, although I must admit on occasions that I have, I like Lasseter's the best. You could go on and on for hours and hours playing with an extremely limited budget. And the best part is, despite my 1 cent and 5 cent play, they still put some phenominal bonus offers in my mailbox for up to $100 free.
Lasseter's gives the player on a shoestring the best deal on the internet. And thier customer service is excellent.

Durham:
I've had alot of success at Lasseter's - play for hours.
The Classic slot seems to be a favorite. I've hit the jackpot once and several other posters have hit this one too playing $1-$5.
Good Luck

Hiya Durham!
I play Double Magic, Cash Clams, Fortune Cookie etc...all the Microgaming 2-coin-max slots....and Ive done pretty well. Even if I havent won much, I have had plenty of playing time which is what I'm after as a recreational gambler. I reckon the Micro 3-coin-max slots suck big time, and the 5-line arent much better.
RTG has a really good slot...Double Diamond Deluxe. Its a bit like Double Magic, except is a 3-max bet and I reckon it pays much better. The other slots are pretty ordinary, although the new "bonkers" bonus slot isnt too bad.
Crypto slots bite the big one IMO. I dont mind the bonus screen ones, but the graphics are crappy and they dont pay jack s*%t.
Boss Media. Dont even. They are tighter than Cher's G-String and are just as offensive. The only one Ive really done OK on at all is Killer Whale.
Anyway, its all just my opinion but I hope it helps a bit!
Cheers
Nifty

I've been enjoying the $1 slots at Micro casinos in the past couple weeks (Jurrassic, Double Magic, Cash Clams, Jetset, etc.)
Seem like a reasonable return (as far as slots go), and was wondering what the slots are like at the other major brands. Any player feedback regarding favourites, big wins, words of advice (besides not playing slots), etc. Has anyone ever hit the highest payout in these games - usually $800 when playing a buck.
$400 is my best hit in these type of slots. Only a few hours more self-restraint and torture before the cashout moves from the evil 'pending' status. A bit of a change from my usual blackjack meanderings - it's nice to switch the pace sometimes. Thanks.
