It's a good thing PayPal didn't have a mail-in drafts option, otherwise I might have been a customer.
I feel the pain for those people who aren't patient enough to post or receive posted money.

But prepaid atm is only for US citizens~ and neteller's customer services sucks, I mailed them for a request to change my personal info (can't do this on their site!), and get no reply! Also, be careful, they will freeze your account if u failed to deposit by credit card 3 time(?) in a hour(?)~~

No, you must provide your SSN, but as was pointed out by someone else, anyone can get your SSN for about $50.
I think they do this as a protection for themselves against chargebacks, since they guarantee that merchants will not be held responsible for them.

ASleuth: I read your info about prepaid atm and it was ery informative.
The prepaid atm sounds like a nice alternative. I especially like how you have access to your money instantly just like a debit card.
The major problem for me, however, is that a social security number is required to sign up. I simply don't trust them with this info. Any way around this?

Right now, MGS casinos are starting to offer PrepaidATM as well as neteller.
Also, RTG use PPATM as well. Not sure about Crypto and Boss, but they will surely see the writing on the wall here.
You can go to the PPATM site at http://www.prepaidatm.com
or read my article first at
http://www.theapage.com/prepaidatm.htm
Also, you cannot transfer between Paypal and Neteller. They severed their relationship about 1 1/2 years ago.
But you can fund PPATM with Paypal.

Is this another nail in the coffin of online casinos?
First credit cards were banned and that severely impacted these casinos. But at least there was still Paypal which many people were familiar with through Ebay so the casinos could keep on truckin.
But now without Paypal, your ordinary gamblers will have to really go out of their way to play the online casinos.
Throw in the fact that there is a good chance that significant anti-online gambling legislation will be passed in the US and this could be severe for online casinos since the US is at least 50% of the market.
Am I beingo overly pessimistic? Please tell me I am.

I had to appear in person with a passport to prove that I am not a US citizen. From the form I had to sign it appears to be a requirement of the banking law regarding reporting to IRS.
I suggest you email the internet bank of your choice and ask. You might be able to submit the required documents online.
BTW my US Visa debit card won't work for casino purchases .
Just logged on to NETeller and found that "We will no longer be accepting bank accounts from NetBank or Wingspan bank"

I'm preparing to tranfer funds from PayPal to NETeller. Last Monday I did the 50 mile round trip to open a US bank account as an intermediary in the transfer .
Hate to pay the 5-7% foreign exchange loss .

I had heard as early as the 15th, but the notice was SPECIFIC to Sportsbooks and didn't actually say Casinos. I would assume it applies to casinos too though.
The Neteller suggestion is a good one and you can erify it out with your checking account just like you do at PayPal. Mine took 3 days start to finish. Very easy to do.
I am getting notices from casinos everyday that were NOT using Neteller, but have hooked up with them now, so this should be fairly painless.
There are a few other solutions in the making as well, so we'll see what pops up. For now though, I'd get hooked up with Neteller.
