Hmmn, I think I got the comps and bonus thing mixed up - Is it Roulette, Craps and Baccarat that the casinos don't count wagers for bonuses rather than comps?

Geordie, playing every number or red/black, odd/even high/low will still turn a heavy profit for the house. Anyone who plays the ways you suggest would lose their butt trying to play for comps.

The house edge even when betting "offsetting bets" is greater then .2%. It would be a mistake to exclude those games.
Since you brought it up, thats another reason I iew many online casino manager as amateurs in their field. Some casinos have 12x playthrough on 20% bonuses and exclude PaiGow, Roulette, Baccarat. Although if a player played those games for the 12x rollover the casinos would make out like bandits.

In the one at lasseters they let you bet on both but the banker gets a kickback of a couple of percent if you bet on him.
Actually, i think you can bet all three at the same time, but im no baccarat guru, only played it for laffs.

I'm not sure about that BJ game, I might just be giving money away there - as for the Roulette and Baccarat rules, its to avoid the 'offsetting bets' cheaters (you know who you are ) Who can grind through the bonus requirements by only having Zero (or the tie in Baccarat) working against them.
Wait a minute, you can only make one bet in Baccarat, can't you (I've never played)If thats the case, then OK, you can play Baccarat for the bonus!

Can we abuse you to the fullest?
Why wouldn't you allow the comps to accrue on baccarat and roulette?

I'm off work this week - how can you tell?
Anyway, seeing that this and most other boards consist of 98% complaints, heres a thought.
Suppose I was setting up an online casino and I'm aiming to maximise my business whilst retaining an honest/fair reputation - how do I go about it?
Lets suppose I offer the normal games, I'll give you single zero roulette with the 'Le Partage' rule, Baccarat & Pai Gow (you can be the dealer every other hand).
Blackjack - hmmn, lets see, I'm going to allow a little penetration here, say 40%, BUT no single deck games. There is a Double Deck and a four deck game with Double on anything,Double after splits(up to 3 times),dealer stands on soft 17,re-split aces(once)and late surrender.
Slots - anything you want, their my licence to print money
Sic Bo, Red Dog,Let it Ride,Carribean Stud (all normal rules)
Video Poker - Full pay Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild at around 98%,All American at 98%,DOuble Bonus at 98.6%... | | Read Entire Entry |
