Yes, you work for, own or are in some way connected to Lucky Ring.

You've made two mistakes:

1.) You know nothing about the accepted standards of games of chance. All respected casinos pay 3 to 2 for any 21 achieved on the first two cards dealt.

2.) You've posted as a "satisfied customer" just stating his/her opinion on a casino. Not--we've seen it all before.

Actually, you've made a third mistake. It's obvious my comments (which were not insulting to you personally) struck a nerve with you. You then responded with personal attacks. Why be angry? I only stated that I suspected you worked for Lucky Ring. That is hardly a reason to call me a dick.

Nice try, but you are only one of many who have tried this trick. Like I said, it won't fly here.

It's [articularly reprehensible because the owners - Fidelis - are alleged to be experienced land-gambling folks.

All gaming rules and regulations...where?

They ought to sponsor a contest for whoever can find a jurisdiction that so defines the game of blackjack.

Not going to find it in the world of land casinos, that's for sure. It would cost them too much to have to pay extra insurance on their dealers who'd have to face the players.

I was told my corcern about the BJ rule (of an ace and 10 not being a BJ when they were the 1st 2 cards dealt) was being reviewed and received this responce from them.

"Thank you for your comments regarding our casino, we welcome any comments/feedback from all our players.

We are sorry to hear you disagree with our rules with regards to blackjack.

We do review our rules from time to time and following your comments, will make a point of reviewing this particular rule in the future.

We can ensure you our casino acts at all times with the utmost integrity and we comply with all gaming rules and regulations. We can confirm that as of yesterday morning, our Blackjack payout percentage was actually 99.24%."

On Dec 23, 2002 I put in for a cash-in as I had met WR and did not feel comfortable. I was also fortunate as had deposited $100 and had $204 to cash-in. There is a 3 day reversal option wait.

On Dec 28, 2002 the total cash-in showed up in my...

I now oice my opinion that J1979 works for the casino in question.

If not, I have to ask, why play there when you can play at casinos that pay 3 to 2 on *all* blackjacks?

dirk_dangerous...i dont work or own lucky ring casino - i wish i did, i am unemployed at present thank you ery much(not by choice either), i suggest you change the r for a c in your forename. I just take an interest in online casino's because i have played them for many years.

On the occasions i have had to call i have once left them a message, by simply listening to the recording and pressing something to leave a oicemail.

I do believe that this forum is all about opinions isnt it?

So when someone makes one why do dangerous people like dirk jump on the post?

well, I just confirmed it. only A-J, A-K, A-Q count as a blackjack at their casino.

This is nonsense. This rule alone is enough to avoid Lucky Ring casino like the plague.

Mary, I agree with everything you said in your post above. If this is the way this group operates, then they are clearly ignorant of casino standards, and they should be avoided.

fewf, glad to hear that they fixed up the check problem. stupid banks don't know how to handle a check, good grief. another reason why paying to neteller should be mandatory for casinos..

My experience so far of Lucky Ring Casino is that its the best looking and playing out there. Also on the occasions I have contacted their customer service i have been most impressed with them, ery polite and prompt curteous email replies. Don't forget the people above moaning about these guys not being open should remember they are in the UK, plus you can always leave a message for them on the answerphone!

Update: RESOLVED

Lucky Ring was eager to resolve the problem
with their returned check.
Seems my bank (Bank of America) is
"confused" on how to process
international transactions.

=====================================
My bank informed me today that the $80 check I deposited on Dec. 12th from Lucky Ring Casino has been returned unpaid.

My bank's attempt to clear funds on 12/13 and 12/20 were unsucessful.

I've emailed support. I'll update here when I here back from Lucky Ring.

Even money on Ace-Ten decreases the payback by about 0.62% and is certainly a reason to avoid this game.

They are also answering within 2 mins to emails that are sent, but IF you ask about your WITHDRAWAL your emails will surely be unanswered. Atleast that is happening with my case. ...

I've been paid by LuckyRing.

I cashed out on 11/30 and my deposit was
credited back to Firepay on 12/4. The check
for the balance arrived 2 weeks later.

Fidelis Entertainments is the software.

Never heard of them before.

Sheeesh, not much of a website. Just a
welcome page.

Please send a complaint to the OPA about this. www.onlineplayersassociation.com

If this is going to be the standard practice for their blackjack game, I want to get the casino and software provider into the "Not Recommended" list as fast as possible.

They are either deliberately shorting players on their blackjack game, or so ignorant of gambling industry standards for games that all of their games could be suspect.

If you go to the bottom of this page, you'll see links for many other gambling sites, all of whom would be interested in your story.

Thanks for letting us all know about it!

I was unable to find the rules to their blackjack game on the website. A rule like that needs to be prominently displayed. The decision not to disclose it is reason enough to avoid this casino.

Thanks for your warning.

well, i just confirmed it. only A-J, A-K, A-Q count as a blackjack at their casino. Strange. I called them and told them that this was the wierdest rule I've ever seen and they might wanna consider changing it because it's extremely weird. customer service was ery polite and helpful and they made note of my comment.. so hopefully they'll think about this.

I got a Blackjack- Ace and 10 but they said that it doesnt count. In their game "natural 21" is not enough.

Be careful. They have rules that say they should win less often then they do. I was not able to send mail through the web mail and their phones did not work right when I tried.

In all other casinos I have ever played a natural 21 "WAS" a Blackjack.

Real Time Gaming BlackJack is achieved when your first two cards total 21.

Microgaming If you are dealt an ‘Ace' and a card with the alue of ten (a natural ten or face card) as your first two cards this is called Blackjack. You will automatically stay when you receive a Blackjack. If you beat the dealer with a Blackjack you are paid out at 3 to 2.

Boss Media In blackjack, each player plays only against the dealer (i.e. the bank), independently of other players. Your goal as the player is to draw cards (i.e. "hit") until your hand adds up to 21, or comes as close as possible with...
