Haven't seen any casino drop craps. BUT, this "sharper player' thingy is probably a scheme that some sharpies use. Perhaps, the software doesn't pick up on it. I thik it goes like this:
Place a bet on Don't Pass which is probably the best bet on the board anyways. Now, if a number has been established, just make an equivilant PLACE bet on that number. Now, if the number comes out, you win the odds on the place bet. If a seven is subsequently rolled, you lose the Place bet, but get that back with the Don't Come bet, so you break even. You can't lose either way, BUT you are bucking the odds on the come out roll. When all is said and done, the odds are in your favor. I think a sharpy might be able to improve it by taking odds on the Don't Passer and adjust... | | Read Entire Entry |

No, haven't seen it removed anywhere. Excluded from nearly every promotion, but not removed
