I actually got paid on a Royal at Sci-Fi several months ago however it was only for $200 as I play nickles. I beleive I cashed out $250 from a $25 deposit. I can't speak to large $ amounts but, they have always treated me fairly.

Slycin, Let me explain the problem with you constantly defending this casino and why there is a problem in the first place with Sci-Fi

-there was a dispute between a few players and Sci-Fi casino regarding bonuses
-Sci-Fi not only renigged on the current bonus the players earned, but they also took previous bonuses granted and deducted that from the players DEPOSITS!

-the manager of Sci-Fi Mark Delano came on this message board and explained he had the right to take and keep whatever money from players deposits he wanted based on his discretion.

It does seem SciFi cleaned up their act. however last I heard they still have the same manager running the casino.
Can you really feel totally safe playing at a casino who admits they can do anything they want with your money at their discretion?
Sure they may be paying fast now, but if times get tough for them, do you really think they will think twice about ripping players off?

Here is the main reason not to tru...

hehe

Slycin,if you are guarantor for Sci Fi then you can indeed give guarantees.

If you are a shareholder/owner/staff that would put you in a position to make guarantees but as you have not stated such, that would mean you are shilling for a schilling.

The problems with Sci Fi stem back from the managers posts here.

Not sure what else to add.

I trust you mean what you say when you say it but that does not account for correctness or wording. That is fluid dependant on ones take.Truth is impersonal and sadly all too subjective.

i'm going to have to agree wtih slycin, simply because of iNetBet. no one can argue there.

However I think even Slycin might agree that RTG has proven that as a provider, it doesn't give two ducks about their players. If any RTG casino doesn't want to pay you, there's almost nothing you can do about it except help build up such negative publicity (eg Angelciti case) so that hopefully the casino will die sooner than later.

I for one love the software, but the fact that for the most part RTG casinos are outright thieves (with some exceptions) it's not as a "Safe bet" to play with an RTG compared to an say, an MG casino.

Edit: Dave R, you recommend Portofino/Hampton? They are pulling a SCAM - you sign up, you get a bonus (they gave it to me MANUALLY even). I played through, risked my own cash, and what happens? I win. Then i'm told I'm on a negative database and get sent home with my deposit.
Had I lost, do you think they'd care to give me my money back? HAH! It's ...

Joey, please don't tell me what I can or cannot do. I have to question, once again, why you believe what you do, without proof; and not only believe it, but spread the information, without facts?

No offense intended towards Meister, but he's not the only person who knows anything about this business, something you ackowledged yourself not too long ago.

I also want to add to the list of good RTG's -
- Hampton, just switched to RTG, sister to Portofino
- Nostalgia Group - a serious rising star!!

I made another rather large cash out at Sci-Fi just yesterday, and they paid me today. So I'd have to agree with Slycin (something I rarely do) that they have thier act together.

I cannot, as of yet, recommend this operation. Casinomeister has not yet removed them from his list of rogue casinos. And I agree with the Casinomeister that these past complaints CANNOT be overlooked.

What I can do, is tell everyone that I am currently making numerous deposits and withdrawals at Sci-Fi with absolutely NO PROBLEMS or hassles whatsoever, and that I find thier customer service to be way above average compared with literally hundreds of casinos I've gambled at in my over 5 years gambling online.

So what's the eridct? Well, if they continue to do business the way they are now for another year or two, I will definately recommend them to everyone.

For now I am taking a wait and see attitude.
For a while, I thought Angelciti was one of the most reputable casinos on the net. Boy ...

Slycin..You cannot guarantee Sci Fi will do anything.

If they run a bonus and lose their shirts you will not pay up on their behalf if they cannot or will not.

The Meister said he was gonna go through the old OPA complaints re Sci Fi but i think that plan got put on the shelf due to Staws weak answer to his open letter.

Pity 'cause i think they - Sci Fi,may pay those outstanders.

With Slycin'e input that may have been possible.not a guarantee.

If Sci-fi is so good why are they on the "Rogue" casino group at casinomeister? The chance of a Royal getting paid by them is probably slim to none. They have a checkered past to begin with-strike one, they are a considered a rogue casino by one of the best casino intermediaries on the net-strike two, they are an RTG-your out!!

The last remaining RTGs I play at are InetBet and Sci-Fi. I have had numerous of deposits and withdrawals there without a problem. I will not give tham big action from now on though until RTG's sh*t has been resolved, in case that ever happens.
-Probably it is already a mistake to play there at all right now though...

No, ALL RTG casinos are NOT out of control and I ery much disagree with the blanket statements being made about them.

I know many of you are going to argue about this, but I won't argue it. Suffice it to say that I firmly believe that any blanket statements made about anything in life are irresponsible.

No matter how much pay out it is, make sure they pay. Do a search before you dive in any casino.
Sci-Fi had some bad history. They paid me twice (less than 100) but I am not sure what will happen when you hit a royal.
Find reliable casinos that pay is far more important than high payout. As for now RTG casinos are all out of control, they may or may not pay based on casinos/cases. I'd suggest you choose other software such as MG casinos although none of them pay more than 100%.
Once again, make 100% sure they pay!
